If you're using sarcasm there, you should note that he is an elf archer... there's literally no other combat style in Mabinogi that encourages close range combat and being right on top of the enemy as much as elf range does.
not only elves, crash > wm tactic is awesome for dmg
though loading crash so close to the enemy is risky as hell

It can be risky if the initial target doesn't die, but if that's the case you can walk to another target and use CS on it... the resulting splash gets rid of the previous target and there's a chance the new one will be done in by the explosion.

or if crash misses and you get hit before you can do anything, don't we love 99% misses? :pissedoff:

Yeah you can still run but just don't aim, as that would slow you back to a walk again.
If you watch foreign elf vids, they actually do it a lot. :P

Cant you just use a crossbow for that?
Quote from radionoise;243463:
But bows are so much nicer than crossbows... and you don't get glued to the ground after loading those two skills.
That and it's more economical for an elf to use a bow thanks to quivers.
Quote from Cide;243468:
crossbows are for pussies >:l REAL MEN USE BOWS
If applied to elves, I agree, but I have my uses for crossbows on my human. If I need to spend a lot of ammo be it fighting weak mobs, farming, or training a skill, it is more space saving that my human uses 200 1x2 bolts instead of 100 1x3 arrows. The stopping while having Magnum loaded is quite a setback, but doesn't bother me too much.

On the flip side, low % seems to be loved by the RNG.
How many times I have experienced success with less than 30% (such as starting duplicating life drains at the beginning of g9 or enchanting high enchants) and succeeding.

Ya my friend also uses this. Crash shot load while running in SCC = fast mode.

I'm a Giant Mage.
I've also seen some epic Melee elves.
And I hate that I can't Dual wield Crossbows..
By the way.. this has also happened with Meditation and Defense, but I thought they were just flukes.

You can't realistically dual wield Crossbows anyway. Suggesting otherwise pretty much indicates how totally-unaware you are of how Crossbows fundamentally work.
This should never happen and thank god it never will. Crossbows just need buffs indicative of their actual real life advantages.

Because we all know Mabinogi is so realistic and that Magic exists...
Yeah, it's a game, living in it's own rules. So you can't really argue with that.
And yes, they do need a buff, they're mostly now only used for AR, when I got interested in Archery, it was mostly because of the Crossbow.
