Seems like the aim rate is slow like Mabinogi crossbows too.

Crossbows though.
Then again, the concept of Arrow Revolver is mostly compatible with crossbow's mechanics.

Amusingly enough, in mabi, the idea of AR originated from chain casting magic bolts. At least, that's what the wiki says (I haven't looked at the skill description fully myself).

That guy needs a rebirth. And if you shoot that slow, you're going to get owned hard in Mabinogi.

I think he's going for the transcended death title through natural causes

Which brings us all back to Van Helsing's revolver crossbow.

Good concept. Chunky though, and slow. Also seems to have issues grabbing the bolts, for which the revolver barrel concept may have some merit. Overall a good design though, and with some modification it could be made very practical indeed.
Also, looks like the4 mechanism can be stopped at any point, so you could draw a bolt back preemptively if you don't mind the wear on your strings.

Which reminds me of the Automatic Crossbow Mythbusters created in one of their episodes which was testing some Greek or Roman Myth...
Of course their's also kept getting jammed when they were testing it and was only able to shoot every 15 seconds or so....

There is recoil, just very little, due to the much smaller mass of the bolt compared to the mass of the person + crossbow. :D
