-Damage calculations for non-life skilling build
-Damage calculations for ranking dex increasing skills one at a time (1 char with refine, 1 with playing instrument, 1 with weaving etc. etc.)
-Damage calculations for having multiple dex increasing skills raised
-Damage calculations for enchants
Isn't damage calculation always dmg x skill dmg (x crit(xcampfire))? lmao for example your dmg is 100-200 you use magnum get a crit and have a campfire
100 x 5 x 2.5 x 1.5 = 1875 dmg
200 x 5 x 2.5 x 1.5 = 3750 dmg
so 1875-3750 dmg

Saying "get more damage and don't miss" for range is like saying "ohko everything with windmill".
It certainly won't help anyone below that level, and really a guide wouldn't be targeted towards anyone already there.
Right now, I can't think of an easy way to play a new character using range to do damage.
If I had to give advice, I'd say something like "go do melee, then refine, then you can go range." That really is avoiding the issue.
If there are tips and answers out there that can be compiled into a guide, giving at least a viable alternative to the would-be range player, it would probably be useful.

I think "get more damage and don't miss" for range would be equal to melee of "get more damage and make sure your melee skills hit".
Because there is slightly more to melee than just WM even though WM is very strong.
There alternative to range is to go for attacks that don't miss until your range mastery is high enough. (Meaning do magic or melee first) That is just how it is.

I suppose i could work on a ranged guide, but there isnt much to ranged that isnt already listed in the guides we have now.
The formula for dex is just a straight "4 dex=1 attack point" or something like that, so its obviuse that the best lifeskills for ranged are the ones that add the most dex. And the ones that add the most dex should be done AFTER refine, because refine is the easiest "in my views" and requires failures. After refine, any lifeskill is good, though you should get r1 production mastery so you can do them better.

It's actually 4 damage for every 10 dex; a 1 damage a 2.5 dex. Well according to the wiki anyways.
