As for the armor. I went from Sweetie to Broken ash, and then to Rose drop.

aside from the guide that's already done very well, id like to point out 2 major skills (IMO) for evie
its called
blink, and insane reaper
when these two are maxed, believe me, even red tyrant would be confuse facing u
its basicly giving u unlimited blink spam ( well not exactly unlimited, but its A LOT)

Use Broken Ash as soon as possible, and max out Blink if you've already maxed Intelligence and Magic Mastery. Consider raising Magical Critical when you have nothing left to rank, and you might want to put a few points into Death Label at Lv30(?).
And max out Smash Mastery, and Combat Mastery if trash mobs are annoying for you.

Usually when I solo a harder boss I usually only have the opportunity to scrape in a MoD.
I only use String when the boss is very far away or if it's knocked down.
MoD and String don't have a huge damage gap anyways.
Don't rank Insane Reaper or Blink before your other core skills.
You can do fine with just Rank F of those skills as long as you are careful with stamina and use two dawn rings.

Strings is my trash mob mutilator, and I use it along with Death Label on bosses.
Solos usually only allow me to use just Death Label ; ;

well, i can say that i solo almost all the time, for my horrible horrible connection T__T
i find it easier and more effective to land LLR smash instead of death label smash? cause, most of the time that i find an opening to land a LLLR smash + death label, i realize that i could somehow get the string instead of the MoD, which i think have better knockdown rate?? or maybe im mistaken :p
especially now with our handsome golem on our side, when soloing, string is most likely spamable due to its (i think) larger range, i just loved how my golem hugs bosses tightly while i raped the boss from behind <3
for some bosses though, i think LLR would be the best idea

If you have the money, it is worth crafting every set you can get, for the titles. Buy all the equipment stories from the general store, and craft all of them. It'll get you a bunch of stat bonuses for not too much gold.

It's usually cheaper to just buy your armor (from before boat 4) from the marketplace.
There are some items that are even cheaper than the gold fee used to make them.

Oh really? Haha. I was crafting them when Scarlet Witch and all were still really expensive on the marketplace, didn't realize how far the prices dropped. Yeah, looks like at the moment its just worth buying some of them right from the market.

I'll add that Mark of Death is REALLY slow because scythe evie's 3rd smash is REALLY slow. Her 3rd normal attack is really slow too.
Invisible Loom is much faster even though you have to do one more normal attack (but thankfully it's faster than your 3rd normal attack) so it's actually not that much slower than Mark of Death. Might even be the same speed, but at most you'd really just have to start empty normal attacks just a tad sooner in order to get Bloody Thread as opposed to Mark of Death.
