Apparently Karok can hit monsters and then quickly recover a bit of HP (maybe 300?) over a short amount of time.
Seems like it works if Karok does a smash or a roll timed exactly when the monster hits him.
The move seems to block some of the damage.
He doesn't seem to knock back or get his armor broken if he heals.

It looks like he can't get hit straight on with a smash either.
In both videos he moves towards the side of the bear when it does a body slam, watch at 0:55 to see him get slammed when he gets trapped directly under the bear.
On this Hard no oath Red Tyrant run, the heal only recovers the same amount of HP that he has to sacrifice so it doesn't seem like you can spam this move to heal yourself.
Can anyone determine what kind of armor he seems to be wearing?
I'm going to guess heavy armor but most of my experience with Red Tyrant has been with my cloth Evie.
Prairie Entrance Solo

He finished the dungeon at 48:22 or 11:38 minutes.
The move is also healing the exact same amount of HP it sacrifices.
Shows the throwing weapon skill which you need to charge (like fury infusion) [4:15].
He also shows more really short rolls that seem to heal him as well [1:57].
Also shows a boss grab smash that only seems to work if the boss is knocked down [2:10].
It doesn't really seem to do a lot of damage though, compared to his normal moves.
You can see the heal move fail on a multi hit attack, so it doesn't have a long duration or any invincible frames [2:56].
His normal attacks and smash attacks are spread across many videos but here's what I can make out.
Normal 1: Punch with his left hand.
Normal 2: Swings totem from left to right maybe less than 180 degrees in front of him.
Normal 3: Swings totem from right to left, more turn than Normal 1.
Normal 4: Didn't see it.
Smash 1: Following the punch he swings his totem straight up and brings it back down to the floor.
Smash 2: He puts the totem pole in front of him and "drills" ahead of him three times. Apparently it can end with a small kick or he dives feet first forward and kicks straight in front of him [1:35].
Smash 3: Swings the totem around in a circle two times, similar to sword Lann's Smash 3.
Smash 4: Didn't see it.
The trailers didn't show any normal/smash 4 moves so maybe he doesn't have one.
I'm really tired so if there's a mistake just point it out.
Seems to be how he makes up for not having a spectacular dodge or heavy stander.

Aren't they both Red Tyrant?
Man, he has some crazy defense.

I have to stop making obvious mistakes.
I put up part one of the second video by accident ._.
Added another video of Prairie entrance dungeon solo :O
Added my observations about the smash moves.

Hmm I saw him throw his totem....that's just epic. I think he was using a variant of savage or something, look liked it from my view.

He should just heal by eating a sandvich.

Meh... seems too good IMO. Easy to do, looks like similar timing to Fiona PG, which is really easy, except that this allows you to endure anything D:

His healing seems to require knowledge of the boss patterns, similar to Fiona's counter spam. Cept now his healing dodges are much more important to his gameplay as his roll has horrible distance (from what I can tell) and is rather slow. So honestly he seems overpowered, yes, but he also seems sort of difficult to use. I'm expecting a ton of horrible Karoks who die all the time and a few good ones.

Well according to one of the veteran players in Mabinogi Heroes on VindictusHQ, rA of his skill negates 50 damage and heals 100 HP over a short time. The timing is also, apparently, more strict than Lann's Slip Dash, so it might not actually be as easy as all of you think it is @_@
Basically the way the healing skill works is, you gotta do any attack at the same time that an enemy's attack connects with you. This includes his dodge roll since it deals damage like Twin Spear's roll. So what Invertex said is true. You really need to know the boss's attack patterns and be able to synchronize Karok's attacks with them. In a sense it's more like being a Sword Lann and being able to slip dash into every single attack using the invincibility frames flawlessly.

Wow if it that's Karok's only special way of defending himself then I see a lot of disappointment in the NA player base when he comes out.
Most people didn't expect Karok to actually need knowledge of boss patterns and precise timing.
I mean that's why Fiona is the least popular character right now.
As far as being overpowered, I don't think he looks that strong or fast.
His move also can't block multi hit attacks so it isn't going to work well with many bosses.
Fiona and Lann can stick to the boss while Evie can usually blink to a safe spot and charge a smash while the boss attacks.

I see a lot of crying over how bad the many many Karoks will be. >_> But at least it'll be awesome with a good player~ They'll be practically invincible if it's with a really skilled player (like.. xD all the other classes are, lol).

Another thing to note about the attack is, if it's multiple quick hits, 1 of those damage negate things apparently will activate for each hit in that combo string, kinda like how if Fiona perfect guards the first hit in a sequence, the subsequent hits also take no stamina away. It should also be noted that even if Karok does do his special defense thing, he still has a chance of being knocked down if the hit would normally do so.

Why would any character NOT require knowledge of the game or the bosses at hand?
That character would be overpowered.
