crystal staff and scythe

  RF Staff Mastery is the rank you have when you first learn the skill. You need 30 AP to go from RF to RE. If you don't have the skill yet, buy it from Ceara for 360 gold. Not a huge investment.

  You kind of need that skill if you want to wear any of the staves you get further in the game, I would advise ranking it up a bit. Enough so that you can wear all the best staff that can be made so far which I think is the Blooming Staff which you need Staff Mastery of RB

  rF (or r-anything) is the rank of a skill.
  
  so rF is Rank F. rA is Rank A. The ranks are pretty obvious when you look at your current skills.
  
  So buying the Staff Mastery (and subsequently reading said book) will grant you the default rF (Rank F) staff mastery.
  
  Staff Mastery has 2 effects:
  - Decreases the weight of equipped staves.
  - Allows you to equip higher level staves.
  
  So later (better) staves require a higher level of the skill to use, and it also decreases the weight of those staves (which is pretty significant, considering how low of a weight cap us Evies have) allowing you to eventually equip leather armor without becoming overweight.
  
  Also, FYI, Staff Mastery can be leveled to r6 (although it requires to be level 48 to level it up to there, so we really only have access to r7; at least until the next update).

  Actually, all equipment skills are capped at A right now. The Uncap to r6 won't come till a later boat.

  I didn't know from experience since the only skill I have at rA is Magic arrow, and it's capped since I'm only lvl 29.
  
  I guess it makes sense since I doubt we have weapons implemented that would require a rank higher than rA at this point.
