Proof that Sword of Elsinore can be dual wielded

  But melee elves already get Brionac and combine with rank 1 shock, its max damage peeks at 234 damage, basically an Ego 2h...

  Brionac is expensive to repair AP-wise.
  What people want are alternatives, not just one choice to follow. It's boring.

  Well Mabinogi really has no "end game" since when new generations come out, enchants will always be replaced as better ones appear
  
  This sword is no exception, am I still going after it for damage knowing that?

  It's a matter of keeping up for me, I feel compelled to have the best equips/enchants I can possibly have each generation and I honestly don't foresee something coming out anytime in the near future that will outdamage a high level ego bast+this.

  I guess but personally Elves wielding 2h or even dual wielding would be too gamebreaking for me. One of the merits of playing Human or Giant is the ability to use Two-handed. Giants to use it with a shield, humans by itself, with Elves not being able to use it. It also balance out for Elves who can shoot 2 arrows with the bow, humans with 1 arrow, and giants none.
  
  Having Brionac is giving a special exception to the Elves, what is basically a high level ego 2h when combine with rank 1 shock. It gets the benefits of a 2h, in which a 600% damage smash, as well as having a large splash range when used with shock. Paying AP to break what is suppose to be a racial weakness, even if it is expensive, the option is there when you need it.
  
  Giants don't have a special bow to use that allows them to bypass their lack of range. Sure they got throwing attack, but they are denied even the use of Magnum Shot, etc. unlike Elves who have the option of overcoming their racial lack of a two-hander by paying in AP, giants don't get the option of wielding a bow in payment for AP.

  Nexon has never failed when it comes to money. But the glove would be nice to have a few to circulate, but that would also mean competition for the legendary blade of hamlet.
