I made two friends, got some cool items, and learned alot (for example, I didn't know there was more than one dungeon, or how they even worked; and I still do not know how many there are left out there for me to find!). All in all, a good day.

Someone before me said he breaks weapons and armor. How does he do that? And if he's so bad, why does Ranald trust him with that suit of armor he had me deliver to unlock Windmill as a usable skill?

You'll learn it very quickly. Let's just say he's a joke blacksmith in the game and even at the end of G11, devCAT threw in some Ferghus jokes. If you look at any Mabinogi fan stuff you will most likely see something about ferghus in it.

It's his abysmal 90% repair rate compared to other blacksmiths that make him so popular for jokes and whatnot. He also has a title called "Friend of Ferghus" for if he manages to break an item of yours that has more than 10 max dura that's worth over 10k or was it 5k. Here this video is one example of the Hate Ferghus campaign...(There was also a photoshop Ferghus event)

Thanks for the warning, Rune! I'll make a note to never repair at Ferghus. Ever.

On an unrelated note, I'm staying away from the Nexon forums for good. The thread I posted got locked because it got too out of hand. Now I realize the kind of people who tread there. Not my kind of people.
