Some of it does look funs D:
But I have some pretty AP heavy goals still, alchemy will only slow it down thus making the game as a whole less fun.
Need 1 more rank of FH, r9 -> r1 AR/mag, decide r9 -> r1 for either IS or thunder, r9 ->r1 counter, rC -> r1 defense, and then once that's all done I can consider alchemy.
Right now I have 4 AP.
I'm also in the same situation...@_@ Which is pretty much why I'm reluctant to carry on with alchemy.

Been doing defeat shadow warrior for lvl 1000+ today. I find rundal normal HM to be better than this one since the exp is constant averaging near 1k per kill if not much more for some types of skeletons. The shadow mission is just one burst of 50k at the end which can be obtained in ~1 floor of rundal.
I'm sure there's missions with nicer exp but with no naos, crappy mabi-lag from living in canada, and not being very party-friendly I don't think shadow missions are for me. Also I keep getting a single alchemy crystal for spells I already have as a reward instead of anything half decent.

Depends on how often you spam Shadow Warrior. I've gotten a Defensive Cylinder and a Bat Hat.

At least you can dungeon D: I'm stuck in a situation where dungeon'ing/Sm'ing is impossible alone, if I want to do any, I have to rely on my party members to keep me alive, which just brings strain on them in combat and makes me a liability, so I just end up not doing any at all. All because my internet is out, so I have to use a different source until I can get it back. Though, I still try my best to help out whenever someone asks for it.
So yah, I like playing Mabinogi, and even though I can't do what I normally would do on Mabi, I still find interesting things to do. For one, I roam around so much with my new Spirit, that, that within 2 weeks, I got from Lvl 1 Strength to 27, and still ongoing. It's really fun, and I absolutely adore my ego <3
I also am able to help out my friends and guild more often on giving advice, what to do on mabi, what to rank, etc and everything. In fact, not dungeon'ing like I used really opened my eyes on what other things I can do in Mabinogi, and I start to notice its not just a game, it's a very large community.
But still, I wish I could level :< It's been two-three weeks since last rebirth and I'm level 25 cause I decided to do age 10 RB :T_T:
Guess I could always pay off a friend to let me come into an SM and leech the end exp :XD:

It's probably the only skill that defends against crazy attacks. Come G11 there's this death god that wields an axe and rides a death steed. He throws axes which can deal 300+ damage and instantly kill players who are not in transformation with that attack. Barrier spikes is probably the only way to 100% avoid it (evasion might be another but not tested and not reliable as well).
Do not remind me of that.... thing...
