Can't launch/join a boat.

For whatever reason, the game won't let me launch or join a boat. When I do, it tells me I couldn't connect to the game's servers, and kicks me off.

Any clue what's going on and how I could fix it?

It didn't make any attempt to patch, as far as I could tell, if there was a patch released last night.

There's a thread that tells you how to patch your client, something about deleting a CurrentInfo.something file.

Seena, just go to the base folder (Nexon\Vindictus\en-US) and look for the CurrentInfo.txt document, delete it and start up your game. It should start patching.

Ok, I did this - and, still can't join party. Was able to launch a boat tho. ArggghhhH!!!!!! : ( : (

Went back and tested everything. I have no problem launching or joining on my level 26. Earlier today, onthe level 9, I WAS able to join - after several battles I got the error "Unable to launch or join". Interestingly, when I actually tried to launch a boat - I could. But I still can't join any battles.

Have you tried restarting your computer? (Lame question, I know). I've had problems with Vindi lately and restarting it does seem to help.

Might be a lame question, but where were you positioned in the party?

I'm asking because the only time I saw this, I came from a Red Tyrant raid in position 5, so when the host tried to host a normal 4-player boat, I couldn't join, even though positioned 2 through 4 were empty (players had already left).

This will also apply if you're in a party as position 3 or 4 and the host tries to do a "2 players max" oath on his boat.

If you were the host and getting this problem, then I don't know, sorry :/

Didn't make a difference. The pattern seems to be, log in, can join 1-2 battles, then I get the error message. : (

I haven't joined any raids with this character - so I don't think that's the problem. Plus I haven't done any limited player quests with this char, so that can't be the problem either. Thanks for your reply - much appreciated!
