I'm going to give you guys a warning for both Day 1 and Day 2.
Day 1: Shop is rather expensive compared to most book stores. With my bn membership I save well over 40% compared to what I would pay over at Borders. 4% nx back isn't really good unless you plan on buying one of their overpriced e-readers (in which can you should get a kindle or nook anyways)
Day 2: This worked fine for me, and I got my 4462 nx in about an hour. Here is the catch. You have two weeks to resign or they charge you automatically to your card. Thats fine alone, but the problem is that you can't close your account online. You have to call them during office hours and explain why you want to close it and take some ridiculous customer survey.
I found it easier to just call my credit company and tell them to change my account number.
Edit: Day 3 is out, its 7% nx back on all hats and caps bought at lids.com
Horrible deal. Does anyone even wear caps here?

I shop at Barnes & Nobles as well, rather than at Borders.
I'm not even going to risk the eCard offer, it's not worth the hassle for just 4.5k NX.
Now day three is out, not buying a $30 dollar hat from that store.
A lot of my friends got Lids cards just to stick into their wallets and look more rich.

Speaking of BN, they're giving free shipping to all members for christmas.
I ordered two fantastic books.

Do beanies count? Wear them all winter :l
I'm too lazy to do any offers though tbh :D Probably gonna blow all my savings on NX, crap, more crap, and very useful crap.

7th day of nexon is a FANTASTIC deal if you own a bluray player.
Get 3 blurays for 1.99, and get 23594NX cash.

Or if you own a PS3.
Even then, you could sell the DVD's to some store or something.

And if you are already a member of the Disney Movie Club. If not, you have to buy 5 movies at $20 each ($3.50 for shipping if you buy them one at a time, $9.50 if you buy them all at once) within the next two years. If you don't buy your 5 movies, those $2 movies you bought just now will be charged in full, with the shipping, out of your credit card, even if you cancel after getting the cheap movies. So basically, you're spending $111 for $23 worth of NX, or spending $60 for $23 worth of NX, and requires an actual credit card, not a debit or check card.
So, meh.

Think I could get away with signing up, then returning the movies for a refund? I don't mind spending the $6, but I'm not about to spend $60 for $24 of NX.
