Staff Evie's battle style is being restructured
The action UI and controlls will be changed and thus Evie will no longer require quickslots to cast spells
We're calling this the 'multi-staged charging system' for now
With this new battle style Evie will be able to use a variety of spells in a single battle with the addition of Ice bolt and more.
Her alchemy skills will also be tuned to be more powerfull and provide better utility and will have several additions like mana pistol.
We're also preparing a unique survival mechanism for staff.
We're aiming for this update to be finished before spring

Main reason I went scythe was because of the quick slot casting. Since thats gonna change soon time to go cap stamina regen and agility mastery

That's the new dodge they already put in. :D So, hopefully that's not the new survival mode. XD Though I do love it too (I have a post of how it works as damaging with magic arrow, the Boat 7 Staff Evy in media).

I really want to see that new survival move. One of the reason I switched was because of blink. Also the casting kind of sucked with having to have them in quickslots, so I really want to see how this is going to work, might make me switch eventully.

If played correctly, Spear Lann is as invincible as Sword imo.
Hammer should get a semi-revamp though.

By the time we get that update most of us will probably be able to max both staff and scythe skills.
I'm already done with scythe and will probably move on to staff after a few more passives.
