Introduction.
Why hello there, In my last guide, I briefly explained a few things about my favorite race, the giants, simple things like What skills to rank, whne to rank them, and why.
But...there is MUCH more that needs to be done.
I Dont plan on Doing ALL of this guide myself, so If you want to add to it, please Just send me a message instead of posting it here.

How did I manage to miss some?
Counterattack:
A simple skill, deadly when used on stronger creatures, even more deadly In the hands of a Giant. Rank 1 counterattack Gives 200% From enemy attack and 200% from yourself.
Assualt:
Just about my second favorite skill to use, just the thought of dashing towards your enemy, stunning them for this unbeliveable amount of time, which can, and will be used to create a devastating combo.
For humans/elves its more of a skill used for its physical effects rather than its damage. compleatly diffrent for giants, we have 105% more damage than them at Rank6. (which is currently the cap)
So, head to courcle do the quest, and enjoy speeding around and combo'ing the hell outta things!
Too bad it has a 10 Sec cooldown..
Smash:
In my last guide, I made a bad choice with words when explaining this skill.
I said "it separates pro giants from nub giants." To a point, yes, yes it does.
Heres an example, alot of people like to be silly when it come to 1vs1 fights.
They decide to open the battle with windmill...very silly, in my opinion.
Why windmill when you can smash? Does WAY more damage.
But as I said before, dont rank it past 9, too much CP , nobody wants hindered windmill training.
Stomp:
I ask some of my giant friends, "whats your stomp rank?" They usally reply that its rank F or soemthing , very bad idea not to rank it. I may have already said it, but I gives a decent amout of strenth when ranking it.
Plus...some time from now, the loading time is decreased to 0.4 I belive?
Master title gives 40+ strenth, If that intrests you.
by the time some giants are going to train this skill, zombies will be awful, which is good for this metheod I was told of recently. First, all you gotta do is lure the zombies, walk around the wall, and stomp away!
Throwing attack:
Bad skill at the moment, but it gives delicious strenth at higer ranks about, 13 in total. It adds will too, but I wouldnt find that too important.
Taunt:
I know, I know....what giant wants to be multi aggroed? To protect his friends! Taunt is mainly use while the windbreaker skill is in action, letting the creatures come to you to just be slashed back down.

Other than that, the skill gives strenth and stamina every rank, so its worth ranking.
Defense:
Another skill that giants have a large advantage with adding +60 defense and +40% protection at rank 1 compared to humans and elves +55 defense and +25% protection, best used it combination with a vales shield.
Windbreaker/WindGaurd:
Haha. Windbreaker.
The first time seeing this skill, Its somewhat hard to understand what its useful for, so Ill tell you now!
Once the skill is activated, your giant enters a stance were he/she cannot be moved or use any skills (except for Taunt as of now). At first, this may seem like self torture, but its a tanking opprotunity!
Draw your enimies in with taunt, then attack! It will direct the attention away for anything inprotant (partymates/eggs) And allow the monsters to be taken care of with ease. Taking on multiple critters will be a pain, so luckily
Windbreaker gives you a bonus of 5+ Defense And 20%+Protection (Rank F)
If you still feel that your going to have a hard time tanking, you could add mana sheild on top of that! so critters wont even get to your actual HP by the time your done with them!
Sharp Mind:
Some Giants like to tank, fine by me. This skill will be of some use since 5 AP for 12 HP isn't a bad trade-off.
FireBall:
One might consider it fail for a giant to even touch magic skills, But others find It refreshing/a challenge to Use magic On a giant, even though they require more mp... But keep your chin up and youll be rewarded with 8 STR when you reach Rank1.
Magic Mastery:
Eventually, your going to want to expand your horizon with more skills after your done ranking melee, You cant really go Ranged, So magic it is!
Beware, Giants get less MP/Int per rank then other races, about 24/8 less
First Aid:
Similar to Sharp mind, This skill is mostly ranked for the HP gain, but theres also DEX to be Had. 30/14 At Rank 8.
Rest:
By far the most useful life skill when looking to boost your HP. At Rank 7 it gives a juicy 50 HP.
III.Weapons/Spirit Weapons.
Giants can be known for having a wide array of weapons to use in combat lets just look over the certain weapon sets giants would have.
1. 2H and Shield.
Obviously two handed weapons for humans are much stronger then one handed ones, so use those with a sheild if you just happen to be a giant.
Coupled with a sheild, you have a great defense, AND offense!
2. Duel Blunts.
Not much to say here, simply, two powerful blunts that intentionaly are used with a sheild for defensive power, Giant are much more offensive with this set-up. weapons like maces, morningstars, warhammers, and even cat paw clubs can be duel weilded.
3. Knuckles.
One of my favorite weapons...multiple hits with somewhat of a decent damage range. Yet the only drawback I see with them is using skills like windmill an smash. Not gonna be hitting high then.
4.Atlatl.
I have heard something about there being a change with the load time in this.
Personally, I STILL wouldnt use it.
Alright, Before I go into ego weapons let me tell you this...THEY ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE.
The most common ego weapon i see for giants it the battle hammer, why?
The Insane damage.
Think the balance is too low? Your going to get 80% transfomed anyway.
Wonderful for fullswing, since I hear that dosent use durability.
there are obviously other options, some giants may want to ego a claymore, two handed sword, or a greatsword to use with a sheild.
But the option that i'm leaning to myself right now is duel weilding blunts, just for the fact that you can have an ego weapon, AND your other enchanted/upgraded blunt to boot!
IV. Exploration.
Im only going to really speak of the Cap quests. Otherwise the easiest way i find exploration Exp is spamming courcle exploration until I can reach the cap because its piss easy.
LVL5- Find a Hedgehog
These guys can be found near the "R" in Reus river.
Just wait for the beeps, stomp away, and no problem! If you want, you can collect a few quills (5 to be exact) For a quest when you get back.
LVL10- Collect An annoying Snowfeild Rats Claw
Go to Barba, around that Diamond shaped mountain, and wait for the beeps.
The annoying part about it, is that not only is it somewhat difficult to find the rat itself, but goodluck having the one drop the claw.
LVL15- Find The Horse Statue
Above the letters of sella beach you can find these, but be sure to sketch them at night time, when there glowing.
LVL20- Collect an ice worm scale
Above the letter "N" in Lunae Valley you can sopposedly find these.
Just stomp to uncover them. Unlike the snowfeild rat quest, you just have to bare-handedly collect the scale.
And CONTRAGULATIONS you have finished all the caps!
V. Clothing
There is only ONE thing I dont like about being a giant, Finding decent clothing!
Heres an updated copy of a List of Human clothing able to be worn by giants.
