  First person to actually complete the book in NA was Milfeulle (so I'm guessing he finished the book in KR in like... G7 or earlier).

  Demigod with shadow spirit will also help you shave off their defense, and frozen blast rank 1 will also shave defense/protection 22/12 at rank 1. More chance to crit using these method.

  I have a Stiff Deadly Claymore that lets me Crit with bolt magic in some HM Shadow Missions, despite never getting Crits with my wands.

  Sorry for the double-post, but I'm still having trouble with this. I'm able to get all the clothes except the ones that require firebolt/ball. I only have 3 less crit (113%) with a fire wand than a lightning wand, and I CANNOT crit with it.
  
  I'm just about maxed out with a crit set, except for the more hardcore enchants.
  - 2x Sharp Thief accessories.
  - Unstable Thief clothing.
  - Stiff Thief hat.
  - Wooden Needle Earnest gloves.
  - Tilted Thief shoes (farming food tokens for a Virtuous).
  - Stiff Marshal shield.
  - Stiff Earnest Bipennis.
  - Stiff Thief wands.
  
  I know I can go Burning on the hat, but other than that, any suggestions on equips? Right now I'm age 10 55/15. Using Saved the Goddess title (when not in trans), I don't have rano/connous.

  Go for Composer's enchant (9 Crit shoe prefix) since you're running Rabbie Adv 8 anyways.
  
  And as mentioned before, Stiff Deadly Bastard Sword is a nice 25 Crit and works for all spells, whereas a Stiff Thief Phoenix Fire Wand is only 22 Crit. (Cor Exploration Book 6)
  
  Principle Thief armor will also give you a nice 8 Crit boost as well.

  A friend offered me a free drop, so I figured I'd give it a shot. So far I managed to get 9/10 dress pieces, and am continually afking in the boss room until I get another Crit roll trans.
  
  My setup is...
  176 base Will = 16.6%
  19 base Luck = 1.8%
  Hat - Round = 12%
  Clothing - Fearless/Thief = 6%
  Hand - Fearless/Dignified = 11%
  Foot - Virtuous/Elegant = 12%
  Acc - Fearless/Cornflower = 7%
  Acc - Beautiful/Thief = 3%
  Muffin of Luck = 12%
  
  81.4% without Title/Weapons
  
  Stiff/Thief Dagger = 70% (Melee)
  Unfamiliar/Thief Shield = 12%/2%
  Stiff/Thief Phoenix Wand = 22% (Firebolt)
  Stiff/Deadly Claymore = 70% (Melee)
  
  Infra Crit Roll = 32%
  Dagger+Shield = 185.4% (127.4% Magic)
  Wand+Shield = 137.4% Firebolt
  Claymore = 183.4% (138.4% Magic)
  
  Discovered Karu Title = 4%
  Dagger+Shield = 167.4% (109.4% Magic)
  Wand+Shield = 119.4% Firebolt
  Claymore = 155.4% (110.4% Magic)
  
  Smash is easy since physical crit can go over 150%, even without trans. Fireball and Thunder don't need to crit, so those are easy too. Lightning bolt was harder, but still easy enough to get without a wand, but Firebolt on Pink took a while to get. As said, haven't be able to hit it on the White one yet. Some of the Crits are easier to get if you go in a certain order, so I usually do Black > Yellow > Red > Pink > White.
  
  It's worth nothing that Dignified, Virtuous, and Elegant are the only hard to get enchants that I have. Pure Crit sets are extremely easy to build.
  
  Beautiful/Thief --> Fearless/Earnest = +4%
  Fearless/Thief --> Unstable/WhiteHorse = +2%
  Unfamiliar/Thief --> Stiff/Thief = +10%
  Phoenix Wand --> Stiff/Deadly Bastard Sword = +3% (assuming enchants work for magic regardless of weapon)
  
  That brings magic crit to 156.4%. If that's not enough, I don't know what is.

  thank you for reminding me. I have to alter the Wiki and emphasize that Brionac and Shadow Spirit only alter defense and protection of monsters the XML files deem as Boss.
