For some reason it's saving the cat's save file as 0kb instead of the standard 256 or 512 kb
specifically it's for pokemon: soul silver.
The cat is using a R4 (it was a gift)

DS flashcarts are finnicky with saves. I knew someone who had a 100 MB file that mysteriously kept growing. R4 Tumor?
If a save's 0kb and the game can still read it, that means the save file you're seeing is a pointer to some other save data that may or may not be hidden.
At least that's how I think it works. Try transferring it to another SDmicro and see if it loads? If it does, congratulations, you can now store infinite data.

Short answer: Pokemon has antipiracy (go figure) that the R4i's official firmware probably can't handle. Google Wood R4, use it. Go ahead and update your cheat database as well, since that usually has a code-solution to antipiracy as well.
