1. They can hurt you.
2. Their lifespan is too short, it'll be too sad.

What do I do? It'd be nice but I just don't think it's a good idea.

I had a hedgehog, and honestly, I would just say to get it, they dont really hurt, and they live for a good amount of time, and I really loved mine, it was sad when it died, but that didnt ruin the good times.

But whatever you want is what you want.

The thing is, we've already got 2 rabbits, a dog, and some neighborhood cats that we feed.
My rabbits never get to run around the house because of my dog and because they get into too much.

I raised a hamster once and thats it.

I don't know how you guys view pets though. If I ever got a pet it would be one that I wouldn't feel attached to or had a long life span. I tend to treat pets on the same level as you would a person in terms of how much I care for them.

I mean, I feel like total **** for a long time when my fish die.

EDIT: Apparently my sister WANTED real hedgehog and told me it was real, or something, but it wasn't.. ><
