Rafting stars

  I went on the wiki and saw that the rewards pretty much end at 31+ stars.
  
  So there's really no point in going to the end of the river every time, correct?
  
  (That's what I've been doing, unfortunately. :sigh:)
  
  
  Do you pro rafters like stop at the first pit stop and begin all over again or something?

  Well you get as many stars as you need for the reward and then stop at the nearest stop. Then you keep going until you reach the end. How many stars you get depends on your own skills though.

  iirc One big star = Five stars.
  So you'd have six big stars and one little star.

  I stop at 1st and 2nd stops only. When I get the stars I need during the last part, I just commit suicide, and revive at dock.
  
  It is better to clear out your stars in each stop no matter how much you get than gathering them up.

  If exploration experience is your goal,
  
  1. Complete the entire rafting minigame (all three legs).
  2. Stop at the first and second station. Exchange your stars for exploration exp.
  3. Right before the end of the final section, allow the hobgoblin warriors to kill you.
  4. Return to the dock (the beginning) and trade the stars earned on the final leg of the river.

  I get over 6.1 stars on the first leg, around 3.1 on the second then over 6.1 stars on the last leg getting around 8k exploration exp each raft.

  I'll make a vid I just got done getting 20 explore but 1 more wont hurt. I beleive I have the fastest rafting route mapped out.
  
  And if speed is your goal completing the entire raft is NOT the best way to go. If you want to save some money do the whole raft.
  
  Ok...my upload speed is awful. It said 166 mins for a 3 min video. I need to figure out how to record and upload things better.
  
  I have fraps but the demo version only lets you do 30 seconds. Anyone have solution to recording in mabi?
