I tried some crash shot and it does work pretty well. I guess I should take back some of it. But Nublet rangers still annoy.

Nublet rangers annoy the f**k out of me. Especially @ the massive warrior mob before the first checkpoint.

With a 2200 range bow and r1 Crash Shot's splash range there should be no worries about strays that earlier mages or archers failed to kill... and you can always just clean up right after with regular ranged or magnum.
This is a good guide if you value time more than money, but not everyone will be able to afford this method. If you do decide to go through all stops and don't feel like losing experience from suicide against Warriors, you can save some time by changing channels while on the raft after turning in your stars on the last dock... You will be returned to raft start with no penalties.

The exp from dying isn't that much and can be made back from the next raft. The money loss is really negligible when you can make it back with in full rafts or SM spam for leveling after you get 20 explore. Crash Shot can also clean up by the ohko knockbacks.

He's referring to the requirements for Crash shot which is 100 unknown ore and 30 Laghdossa kills. Unknown ore go for like 1k a stack and you find a plentiful amount of Lagh's in cair and albey red.

I already spend ~75k to get to level 21 explore every week, not counting mana herb and blacksmith mat rafts... I can't imagine the expenditure of not taking advantage of the other docks while rafting for such things. You can also clean up strays or deadlies more efficiently with regular range or magnum as there is less mana expenditure.
It'd be a profit if you were aiming for tipping suits ever 3 minutes, however, but sometimes you need other materials or explore exp and a little extra time spent rafting will save you some cash... and the cc trick some time, if you do wish to return to raft start without dying.

indeed, not only crash shot starts getting expensive after expl 15~17 since you need to start using MP pots (at least for me). Paying 5k just for 3.1k exploration xp gets a bit ridiculous overtime since you need to do at least ~50 runs to get to expl 20
If you get xp from all stops you can get, if lucky since 2nd dock is hard to get 31 stars, 9k xp. At least 8k guaranteed
And cause im cheap, i prefer to force myself to gather wood than paying the 5k to get the xp. At least made me spend only 50k for expl 20 this rb
Oh yea, this might sound a bit paradoxical because the vid i posted. I only committed suicide to make my run as similar as possible to zyrus one, I just play dead/kill stuff till i get to the dock, get xp and move on

Seems like a great tutorial! But I prefer crash shot for less mana use and I only raft to 15 anyway so yeah. >_<

Thats why you never do it at 99%, I've learnt that firing at 70% - 90% is much better in terms of hitting:missing. Started doing that when I missed 3 times in a row at 99%. Stupid server lag screwing up range.
I seem to miss almost every time at that range. I definitely rarely actually hit at any % below 80% and often miss between 80-90% as well. But 90+ is usually pretty good.
Also, I suicide as well, but at the third leg when I finish all my stars and since I raft right after I rebirth, I'm usually at a low level so the exp loss isn't even noticeable.

Level 20 explore = 72,500 Exp
Exp per run: 3,180
72,500/3,180 = 23 runs
23 x 5 = 115k gold
23 * 3.11 mins or 191 seconds = 75 minutes (Not including time affecting variables)
Math is amazing.

Range is the only skill that is effected by lag and aiming is effected by it the most. Means you will be able to hit more often at 99% the closer to the server you are.

that number was one estimate, but if you want we can go precise
lv 20 expl xp = 80,142
80142/~8520 = ~10 runs
10 x 5 = 50k
10 x ~11 mins = ~110 mins total run (w/ stops)
Now looking how we stopped at the 3 docks spared us 80k.
Now try and go make 80k in less than 30 mins to cover the time & xp you lost for killing yourself
edit:
more rafting for tipping suits (money making method)
23k/raft, at least 4 rafts are needed to cover up the money
add ~+10 mins to total
However this method makes you spend more MP pots, which you'll have to raft/produce/farm later for.
Then theres the base xp you lost...
Anyway, too many variables to be precise. However if we're going with nitpicky precision. The time you spend getting 31 stars > suicide, isn't that different from the time you spend for stopping at all docks

raft time for 3 stops is closer to 13 mins.
I dunno i seem to get alot more doing short rafts. I've done both.
