Love it.
The snow golem is pretty much overpowered. Even my giant friend can't keep up with it's 5k Smashes. And Barrier Spikes is pretty much invaluable especially in missions like Offering. Well placed Barrier Spikes in that mission along with good teamwork can mean 120k exp in less than 10 minutes.
What I can't wait for is Frozen Blast. Lol, hello -12% protection, -22 defense completely stationary and defenseless enemy.

I absolutly love alchemy. R6 lifedrain does alot of damage. Golems almost gamebreaking melee. barrier spikes > Mage/ranger best friend.. Fragmentation = money maker (buy cheap silks for 3k a stack then frag them and re-make them over and over until you get fine/finests and then resell. Average for me using monday is 3-5 fine/finests per stack of cheaps) Synthesis = Huge money maker if luck/money pit if not. Water cannon is pretty nice, windblast...my least favorite. In future :Metalworking (make diamonds? ftw) Spark, raincasting (instant production boost). Alchemy rocks.
I think, that Alcehmy's fixed damage makes leveling not-so-important. :P~!
I still love the outfit.. -drools-

Personally, I've never even equipped a cylinder; but from what I've heard, alchemy has a lot of potential, at the cost of some heavy skill training :P

Alchemy rocks? okay there.
Not my playstyle, Im more of an offensive player, so doing rain-dances and turning water into wine seems like nothing to really call home about.
BUT, those cannon tower things those KR players have seem interesting.

Pretty neutral about it. It's useful at times where I need a barrier so I can safely shoot bolts/arrows, but other than that, I don't really use it for anything else since crystals are a hassle to make and carry. Or maybe I'm just lazy~

I kinda like alchemy cause you can pre-charge your advanced magic and use it later in battle without having to worry about your mana. I like being able to use my sword to hit targets that are close to me and occasionally using alchemy advanced magic to clear large mobs for time to time.

I think most people are, that's what discourages them from Alchemy in general. Barrier Spikes take too long and it's only good at Rank 1. Golem Summoning is pricey and it's only good at Rank 5 and above. Most people who say they hate Alchemy most likely don't have an Alchemy Skill beyond Rank 5. Just saying.
I think it's way over powered but way too much time to spend if you're out of character creation. The skills are luxurious, but that's all they are; a luxury.

idk, i've only got r5 and it's been working magic for me.
eta: not to mention.. rf-5, at least, does NOT take a long time at all to train. i did it in under 2 days collectively.

Surprising outcome.
There's 16 who love it
and 19 who are neutral.
I expected a lot more hate. xD!

I like the skills. They're fun. :D With really low ranked skills though, the effect is kinda sad. Goblins can pretty much destroy my pathetic little Barrier Spikes in one shot. So, as of right now, neutral.

Hate. I play Mab so I can pierce things with mah arrows. Alchemy doesn't offer any stat boosts, which practically every other skill does. Therefore there's no reason for me to touch alchemy.
(Except for barrier spikes... but I'd really hate to carry a cylinder around with me just for that, in addition to it being a pain and not being able to set up in the midst of a battle)

I'm okay with alchemy. Skills like summon golem and life drain are poweful, but too pricy. Barrier spikes are very useful offensively and defensely, but other than that i don't pay much attention to the current alchemy skills.

I love alchemy! It's the most versatile branch of combat and adds a lot more depth to it.
