So, I have my party up, and I'm pretty much afk. My party says, "S>Stuff Note 4 List, AFK!"
AFK.
So I come back to check a few notes, and in that time period, about 8 or 9 people come over to me and trade with me. I didn't do anything that made it seem like I was there; haven't moved, talked, summoned pets, anything...
You'd think if people can read "S>Stuff", they'd get the "AFK" part, too.

reminds me of countless other people:
I'de say something like S>item 300k $$ only, Note
they would come up to me do the same thing they did to you except they'de also try to either LOWER my price... or trade me items :/
so YES I say people are "THAT" stupid

I usually don't have a problem with people coming up to me if my sign says note, as long as it doesn't say afk.
But I do agree that the offering of items when you specifically say cash only is pretty annoying.

It's just like how one says S> item note offer and they note you asking "how much?".

I hate it too x.x;
By the way, why would you say "Note me for list" if you can't reply right away? Won't people lose interest?

No? I got about 5 notes in an hour, and they all replied.

If you're selling something good many of the people who contact you as "potential buyers" are just trying to resell your item for a profit. Just give them an offer like 200k overpriced. You can weed out the truly interested from the opportunists.
