Please tell me I misread reading an "upgraded reaper"....:T_T:
Also, I watched some raid vids, but not all of them from Steparu and apparently, the Blood Lord was considered the second hardest raid boss, right after Urkul of course, since he can kill you in 2 combos and sometimes, even 1.

Yea, he's really nice;
except for the fact that he kicks my ass every time i tried to kill him...
and his annoying range attack, and his fast "respond" to my "Soul Drain" xD

That's why Draining Reaper is ill advised until you've knocked him down, or have adequate distractions =D

By adequate distractions, he means me. :( He always wants me to play bait for that.
But yeah. D: I used to have trouble with the Reaper too, until I decided I was stupid and shouldn't use Firebolt until he's down for the count. ^^; Then I just stuck to Magic Arrow and Eagle Talon. I dunno what a Scythie would use though.

Quake Hell all day every day until he falls down, then drain and summon your wisp and sneak in a Soul Skewer.

Pedantic here, but I'm pretty sure it's Hell Quake, and you forgot the "tank his attacks, lose your shields, endless kite him 'til shields restore, rinse, repeat".

>_>;; You don't want to tank his attacks though, that's just asking to die. You're supposed to dodge like mad! Or rather, BLINK like mad. Bat your eyes and goo~

If all of the original video is from the same run, then I would imagine they are doing the Hero Mode, or whatever it's called. I just can't see even a terribad party of 6 people taking 30 minutes on a boss (not the whole dungeon, but just the boss), when a lone staffie took the same boss down in ~7 minutes (without a golem, assuming the video was from the start of the boss battle).

*points to one of her Lagho raids* 30+ minutes or something on the bosses alone. It was a
very sad raid group. That said, Heretic and I can two man the Lagho raid in less time than that one group did. So yes, there are terribad parties out there capable of that. It might also have been their first trip to Blood Lord.

And you're probably discounting the fact that the solo Evy likely is much higher level than the group, which kinda makes a difference.

I doubt the Evie is much higher than half of the first group, as in the first group, two of the Evies have Rose Drop and one of the Lanns has the Laghodessa set. I believe it comes down to real experience as PandaSong suggested, as it was clearly not the first time the solo Evie faced the Blood Lord. I'm just still in shock that a group could take that long to clear a boss. I guess he is really tough to knock down.
