SAN ANTONIO -- Thieves have struck their third video game store in less than a week.
Police said two men armed with a gun robbed the Game Stop store at Bandera Road and Mainland on the city's northwest side after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The two bandits tied up the store's employees and corralled them in the bathroom duct taped and tied them up then stole cash from the register, police said.
It took the employees 45 minutes to free themselves and call police, giving the crooks more than enough time to escape undetected.
Police said the thieves escaped with an undetermined amount of cash. If captured, they will face aggravated robbery charges.
Early in the morning on Tuesday burglars broke into a Game Stop in the 600 block of Northwest Loop 410. There the thieves pried open the doors, then broke into several drawers. They made off with an unknown number of games.
On Monday afternoon, police say a man walked into the Game Stop in the 6000 block of Northwest Loop 410 claiming he was armed with a gun and knife. That thief also got away with several games.
Police are investigating all three cases, but so far they don't believe any of them are connected.

Duct tape?
classic
but armed robberies are serious business
especially since Gamestop does not allow employees to be armed even to defend themselves
(one of the reasons you shouldn't work at Gamestop... or any other retail. At least Arsik has a butcher knife)

I'd work at a convenience store and have a gun sitting underneath the counter :D!

Duct Taped in the bathroom. That's actually pretty humorous.

This is what happens when you try to sell used games at a huge markup.

And this is why you keep a pocket knife.

The employee probably didn't have Commando Pro, unlike the criminal who was using a pistol with a knife, who must have had Commando Pro on.

I'd really hate to be them. It's not like they chose the prices, and they need a job too. D=
