im nit picking, but I always think its better to dodge stuff like the thrown axe or his roar frenzy rather than turtling just so it wont become a habit, plus you can bite him in his butt after his roar line of atk.

Why is it a bad habit to block everything?

The argument I'd like to make on his defense, though its true that its sometimes better to make the boss whiff, is that his attacks are ridiculously easy to block, filling your SP like mad.

Especially his roar attack. Easy to make him whiff by rolling to the side, yes. But blocking it will score you a full SP bar.

because you're missing out on opportunities where dodging will enable you to sneak in damage, especially when its when the boss has a tell, such as this one. Another example would be heavy standing the giant spider's forward pounce instead of walking to the side, and pulling off LLR.

@cucurbita yes that's true. definitely block stuff where you have no choice or want more SP, making sure you have the necessary stamina. That kind of tactic is more viable for kite shields, however.

Well, I didn't want to take any chances with him. I stuck with what I knew I could do, and I watched my Stamina bar like mad. You could see how I ended up not sprinting at all throughout that run, and I ended up watching and waiting on his moves.

This... well maybe not so much disconcerting so much as boring D: Ever since soloing Blood Prince for like a week straight to get my titles for him... I haven't really wanted to do the solo thing anymore ~_~ This, and the fact that one day PandaSong's going to randomly come up and say.... Aiiiiiish D: Help me get this title even though you've already gotten it!
