I wouldn't mind it if they also add two other novelty regional skills that add 23 dex/int and 18 stam/mp.

Remember, it's not spammable forever since it costs a heck load of stamina and you need to collect something from a monster's corpse to use it, much like Shadow of Spirit. It's also got a slow loading time, which is enough for a Charge to interrupt it. Not to mention it gives off a funky blue aura while you're charging it.

If we're really going to play the "it doesn't fit" game, I'll just knock out half of Mabinogi right now.
My point is that, when I mean "it doesn't fit", I mean it literally doesn't fit into the story or cultures or style of Mabinogi at all. Gacha Japanese swords and some Japanese items are really the only thing I can think of that doesn't fit. Mostly unimportant items, not skills or story, y'see.
Quote from Phunkie;267084:
What?
You could say that for a bunch of other skills. How does Leap Attack fit in? It's almost like Dynamic Entry.
Blaze is like almost Kamehameha.
Yeah, they're
almost. Not direct copies. Shadow Bunshin, regardless of whether or not there's a history behind Shadow Clone Jutsu or whatever, is pretty much a direct copy. Ask anyone what they think of Blaze? It's
kind of like kamehameha! but not. Ask anyone about Leap Attack? Yeah what mmo action game doesn't have an attack where you jump and slash/piece? Ask anyone about Shadow Bunshin? Narutarded ninjas.
You really can't deny this either considering the skill came from JP.
EDIT: Yeah and I just watched the video Shanghai posted. It even has the blue aura. There's no way you can deny that's not directly from Naruto.
Quote from Phunkie;267084:
It's a game! Don't you want more content for your frickin' game? xD
You're saying that to a giantess who is still waiting on her
Final Skill to be even
mentioned in KR's release notes.

Mabinogi is supposed to be based around Irish mythology, right? How many of the skills in Mabinogi actually fit around that? Or, a lot of the storyline, for that matter?
My whole point is, nothing fits. So it doesn't matter. Enjoy the skill and devCats randomness.

At first it was, anyway. They expanded the story and everything is pretty much original content. How many mmo's have elves living in the desert or heck, even
giants as a playable in them. Dragons aren't oc but at least the story behind said dragons were. Alchemy isn't oc but the way Alchemy is used in Mabinogi is. Future Shakespeare gens aren't oc at all, I'll admit, but at the very
least they are still
European fiction/fantasy. Everything in Mabi, except for a few gacha'd items, fits because it offers new things or at least old things used in new ways.

I'll remember that when Mabinogi is full of anime skills and weeaboos. Maybe we'll even get some Twilight themed stuff! Cause y'know direct copying is total randomness.

There is no point in being so serious about a game.
Play the game for its content, not for the many crazies that are in it. Make your own friends, join fun guilds.
If the next big weapon is claws (like Wolverine), I'm not gonna start complaining and say that they're trying to copy Marvel. It's not that big of a deal. I'll still enjoy the game, just like I have for the past 3 years.
If there was a vampire skill, an underwater skill, a flying skill, I don't think I'd care as long as: (1) It isn't overpowered and (2) it's creative. It doesn't matter if reminds me of Twilight or of Winnie the Pooh. As long as the skill is useful, I'll be content.
New content = always good stuff.
Also, it's very simple. If you don't want the skill, don't get it.
But let others who do want them enjoy them!

I'm actually rather fond of Iron Claws and I'm only serious because I love Mabinogi and don't want to see it go to crap.

Which is
exactly what Shadow Bunshin is
not.

I certainly wouldn't waste AP on the skill.
And what if there was an incredibly op skill like say, Falcon Punch that could be put into Mabi that could 1-hit anything. Would it still be ok if that was put into the game just because people wanted it?
