Seriously thinking of buying a new Gaming Computer

  Type of RAM. DDR3 is better and uses less power, and you can't upgrade to DDR3 if you have a DDR2 motherboard. Sure you can add more RAM but it won't live up to the same amount of DDR3.
  
  6 GB DDR2 should serve you well enough though.

  How much more expensive would it be with DDR3?
  
  I just wanna buy a computer for ME and ME only. Not to be shared amongst family members who fail at using limewire. So I don't plan on upgrading it for like 32810932 years.

  Well, idk how much it would cost to get 6GB of DDR3, but it'd be way more. I'd guess at least $600 to get the same exact comp but with DDR3.

  Do they even sell computers in XP or vista anymore? aren't they better for running games?
