Hehe, thanks.
Although, i'm not sure how much Icebolt will affect my CP for now, since i'm already age 17 so my CP is somewhat high...
But I need to start some Magic! Thank god Trigger is awesome.
And also, i'm moving to Ruairi full-time. No point in going back to Alagxina anytime soon, if it's ever fixed. I despise most of Tarlach, and nobody seems to be active on Mari, so Ruairi is my new home!

Well I'm actually a pure life skiller myself. And let me tell you, sometimes it's really hard.
Sure Life Skills are fun and all, but after a while, they just get old of countless hours gathering materials with other life skills, and ranking stuff up, and flaming when you fail.
I mean what I've recently decided to do is, Since I made my life skiller an Alt elf, I decided just to make him my main ( because all the extra Dex will help me with ranged anyways.) So I did G9 and let me tell you, it was friggin hard.
1. I was in Intermediate
2. I was all life skills (so I had horrible damage, even with the Dex)
3. I ALWAYS had to have a party with me, I could never solo anything.
So basically I'm saying, I wouldn't advise it. If I had the choice to go back and make my guy all Combat, would I do it? Probably not! All of a certain class (eg. Pure Alchemy, or Pure Magic) bores me. So I suggest: Mix everything that really interests you, so you wont get bored, but still have moderate damage.

Nice story! Loved reading it.
You said you decided to make your Life Skiller your main, well, did you have a previous character before that?

I see. Kudos to you for doing it, though!
So far, Magic is going okay...XD. I'm practicing Icebolt 3221 but I fail sometimes and usually get owned. Out of Nao stones already. *.*

Well, Alchemy isn't based off of stats, so your damage will be low to begin with, and if you have low stats you'll have to be careful. Also, you'll have to do quite a bit of G9 to get the skills, but some of them are easy to obtain [Alchemy Mastery just by equipping a Cylinder, Water Blast just by talking to whatsherface lady.]
Please don't hijack my thread, though. ^_^

Yes I did, my human. But I just didn't like it. I was planning on making it
pure combat ( I had a pure mage before, and I was so bored I quit Mabinogi for about a year) But I got bored because...ehh... you know already.

I recommend spending at least a bit of AP to raise DEX so you can have like, a base of 180 (I think it's the max) so you CAN be a pure life skiller =P

Nay because of what Pika said in the first page.

Ehhh. Actually I think the max is 200+ I've seen people with the "Skillful Title"

She's referring to the amount of dex that will affect production success rate, the maximum for that is 180 dex. As for maximum dex, it's waaaay higher than 200+, lol.

Thanks for clearing that up: +rep
Of course, DEX can go much higher; I know some friends who have over 300 DEX x3
I personally can't go any higher than my base dex since I rb at age 17...;;
On topic: According to some players, Stats are capped at 999 (acquired through transformation)

I think base stats are capped at 999 (possible through food spam/skills/hardcore leveling) but enchants and trans would let you go past that... to be honest, I've heard both views equally so I don't have any proof to support either. If you're right, the cap would give Paladin/Falcon/Beast an unfair advantage over DK endgame, but I guess that's better left for another thread. I tried to find a picture of a character with 999+ boosted dex, but the highest I could dig up was that of an elf with 939.
