[Suggestion] Main Page Recent Threads List

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

Maybe it's just me but I think threads from Bean Rua shouldn't appear in the main page's recently active threads list. I don't mind you guys having fun, it's just not valuable towards the main purpose and main audience of the forums, which is Mabinogi/Vindictus discussion. Most people that come to Mabination don't visit Bean Rua either.

I didn't say that. That section includes everything. Bean Rua is part of our community, is it not?

I remember one specific *Guideline* of Mabination; which is to keep everything PG13. Now I don't know to what extend that PG13 rating goes towards, but a majority of the things that pop up from Bean Rua are inappropriate, to say the least, for a minor.

Such, lets give the assumption that some of the members in bean Rua are already minors, but if we're not allowed to showcase blandly sexually explicit things or profane, then Bean Rua is that trade mark place of everything that contradicts the Guidelines. It shouldn't be popping up on the front page is that's the case.

The list isn't a list of recently active threads. It's a list of newly created threads. But then again...I guess that can count as recently active?

PG-13 is pretty much no disgustingly violent images/videos (gore, dead bodies, etc) and no explicitly sexual images/videos (nudity, pornography, etc.). Rules still apply to Bean Rua, excluding the spam rule. Not sure which Bean Rua you're looking at, but "a majority" of the things that pop up in Bean Rua have that rating. Anyone younger than 13 isn't even supposed to be on this site, so if a 13 year old can watch a PG-13 movie, these forums should be just fine.

The answer pretty much lies in that thread.
When I upgrade the software version of Nation the problem might be fixed, if not I'll be removing that thing once I find something suitable to take the spot.
