When looting a chest at the end of a dungeon, sometimes looted items have either a Suffix or Prefix already enchanted on it.
So, i was wondering if by chance an item could be looted with 2 enchants of course them being prefix and suffix.
Rundal Normal HM gives a tail cap/Vintage tail cap with either Stiff(prefix R9) or Life(suffix rA), is there a possibility that both of the two enchants could be looted on the cap?

I think so. Ciar Int is an Example. Stiff Fierce Maces drop from the end.

i'm pretty sure the rundal tail caps only come preenchanted with a single enchant, otherwise it's extremely rare.

I think it's just one enchant per thing.
Unless it's a dungeon-exclusive, like the Stiff Fierce Mace.

yes, what the above poster said is true, if there was a such thing as stiff life caps i'm sure everyone would be all over that

You only get one drop per dungeon (as in, even if 8 people run a dungeon there will always be only one chest with loot besides gold, herbs, etc). However, enchanted items are not restricted at all to one or two enchants it just depends on what the dungeon drops... You can run Rundal for Stiff Tail Cap, Ciar for Untamed Energetic Broad Stick, Fiodh for Smart White Spider hairband, etc.
Which means that the possible rewards are specified... you can get an item with two enchants in one dungeon, but another such as rundal limits it to one enchant per item.

Dang, thats kind a bummer, but good to know xD luckily i found out Round could take Stiffs place i suppose.
Round is rank A prefix which gives:
+5% Critical
+2x Repair Cost
+4~7 Critical if Combat Mastery rank 9+
For Headgear. downside is it's personalized
Also i'd like to thank everyone for the replies, much appreciated.

Round is impossibly hard to get unless it's a leftover code from Mystery Boxes, though... I'd wait for G13 where an enchant called Ivy will replace Stiff and can be enchanted on any headgear.

oh really? Thanks :D i'll wait a while before i do helmet enchants then, any suggestions for gloves? i'm trying to aim for crit/will/luck boosts with as few negatives as possible [ -5 to -10hp or something is fine, but -30 or so is harsh ._.; ]

If it's critical you want from gloves, Fearless + Thief would give you +6% critical for cheap... A better alternative is Wooden Needle Elegant/Dignified, but that is a lot more expensive.
Again, in g13 there will be a Wooden Needle alternative that will drop from a very popular mission (Their Method) so right now is probably the time to be conservative about enchants and wait until better and more convenient things are available.

How does Ivy replace Stiff when, in essence, it gives the same amount of Critical as Stiff?

Luck -20 = -4% Crit
Unless you're worried about the -Dex from Stiff.

:o at the moment it does seem as though round is most promising for crit boost :x
though i don't get the difference from +5% to +4-7 with out the % o.o;

It replaces it since you're no longer limited to a Tail Cap, so it would be more fashionable and offer superior enchant combinations... it might also provide more critical than Round if you're a 17 year old character and have 0 luck to begin with (Oblivion enchant from G13 or -luck title).

Round is still the most promising, unless you fit the above (17 year old with 0 luck from Oblivion enchant or Title)... But it's also significantly harder to obtain, personalized, and the roll is randomized (9~12) so you could always end up with 9% crit.
