So I was eyeing the level 32 Crescent Moon scythe, and saw a +5 for 100k. Is that a good deal or am I better off not wasting money and getting the regular version and waste the rest of my money dying it? :what:

A +5 is worth is since it's +350 damage iirc. Dyeing weapons isn't really worth it though since you're just gonna move on to another set of gear in a day or two depending on how quickly you level.

Well, I don't know the standard price on those, but enhancing is pretty cheap.

Eventually enhancing will come to mean up to over a 1000 bonus damage, so yes. But as people have already mentioned, it's good NOW.

Don't forget +ATK Speed. @-@
And it's pretty cheap. Usually around 10k per Enhance, I say it's worth it.

+5 is actually +350 Attack. Magic attack if you're Evie.
It seems like a lot but if you use a damage calculator you'll see that it really only boosts your damage by a small amount, maybe less than 100.
For enhancing to boost your damage by over 1000, you'd have to get over 3500 bonus attack purely from enhancing. This would put the best weapons out currently, which have ~5k base attack, to 8.5k attack. Now, I don't know how godly +15 enhanced is, but that seems unreasonable.

350 attack is a small boost, but it still matters. It increases all of your skills proportionally by the same amount.

Any additional damage/attack is great, it's just not as cracked up as it's often made out to be. 1000 additional damage? I think you mean 1000 additional physical or magic attack.
It also gives a perspective as to just how much better golden twin spears or death crowns, which pretty much eat up gold ore and cost a little less than 1mil right now, are compared to the extraordinarily cheap crescent moon scythe and blood lances. If you can afford it, great, but if not it's not really worth going broke for.

They aren't much better. I don't notice my Death Crown giving me a huge edge in terms of dps o.0

That was my point. They're not that much better.

If you're at level cap and have nothing else to put your money into, you might as well enhance for a small boost to Atk and Def here and there. You could also bring all your gear to +2 (100% success rate) rather cheaply, which would knock off a lot of the weight of whatever you're wearing. But is it noticable? Barely.
(Also note that enhancing at any level increases the Condition and, in turn, the durability of an item. So your gear will take slightly longer to break and slightly longer to hammer back into shape with each boost. The repair times are very noticeable on +5 gear.

Isn't +3 the 100% success limit?

Yes, but weight only decreases on +1, +2, and eventually +6... so if you were enhancing just for that reason +3 would be fruitless.

i think i lost some info... enhanced items become not tradable right? so.. why to enhanced them? o.O i rather get some of my money back selling something i wont use for long.

Enhancements (the +1, +2, etc. from Fergus) does not affect the tradability of the item. I have sold +3 sets on multiple occasions on my way to my current set.
Now I've read about some other type of enhancement (something about blank papers and seeing Brynn) but I have yet to see one of those, so I can't comment on them.
