I'm Occamy.

  Hi, I'm Occamy. I'm not new to Mabinogi, but I'm new to being a pure alchemist. (A request to not waver me from this position is requested)
  I know little about Alchemy, but thought it was amazing when I saw people in Alby Int use it.
  I'm an elf in-game, which I'm not sure about, but I'm not going to change, because Occamy is an awesome name. Alchemy is the process with gold, while Occamy is the process with silver, so I thought that was interesting, because everyone knows silver is better than gold.
  
  Basically, I know what skills I'm going to do and kinda which order (though this would be a great help if anyone has any input.)
  I believe I am more looking for an equipment guide. Should I wear the alchemist robe to show I am an alchemist, or wear some type of light armor for protection? And, what is the best shield to use with my cylinder?
  What is the difference with the tower cylinder and the regular cylinder?
  
  Also, any links to relevant topics or articles would help.

  A tower Cylinder is more for an extra punch, whall a normal Cylinder is your basic weapon. A tower cylinder is something you won't use until far later on as an Alchemist, however. Simply because you need to go through some Generation quests beforehand, which is kind of hard for a beginner Alchemist.
  As for equipment, I find that protection > appearance, lol. Though you can certainly find a nice looking combo that also keeps you alive easier.
  Shield wise, it doesn't matter too much. If you have the money, invest in a kite shield. I love mine to friggin' death.

  Thanks, I have the guide bookmarked, but I'm on Alexina. Your guide has a lot of information, so that's awesome. :D One of the best, I found the ones by Naii to be disorganized and not too filled.

  Haha, thank you. It still needs some improving, though. My Elfchemist is still only mid-level.

  And, can I add you from Alexina? I still haven't met any alchemists, so to say, and immediate help in some situations could prove to be really helpful to me.

  Mmhm. We can talk, just not play together. And mid-level being 1xx, I suppose.. though I mean skill wise mainly.
