And because of uh...Well....A kinda clueless midnight I need to ask you this question...How exactly does one go about kissing someone? It was well, kinda a fail, but the re-dos kinda made failing fun.
But seriously....How?
Instinct worked for me. Not a very nervous person, so I just made it happen. I agree with the person who said that worrying about it means you already failed. People are pretty sensitive to one another, especially during intimate moments, and even more-so if they've got experience and you don't. I'd make more suggestions, but that moves on to more than just kissing. Best of luck, friend. If all else fails, you can follow the 'practice makes perfect' advice, though.. It also depends on who you're kissing. Some people prefer sweet, soft kisses. Some people enjoy a little nip on their lip or the tip of your tongue sliding across their lips. And then you also have people who just like having a tongue jammed down their throats. Good luck!

The second you start worrying you're already screwing up. The other person can tell
In my defense, that's cute if I wasn't the person screwing up. Practice makes perfect~ Especially if you have someone you can enjoy it with.
I'm sure many would disagree with me.

The more you think about it, the worse it gets. I know this because I've been thinking about it as of late myself.
But I did end up getting the kiss, just not the way I thought I would. I was walking my friend (and current recipient of my affection) to the train and we stopped right in front of the subway steps.
She asked, "What are you doing now?" as in "Are you taking this train too or going to another station?"
I replied, "Kissing you," without thinking about it. Thinking is bad. Don't think, just do. It worked.
But if you wanted to analyze everything and try and get a easy-to-follow answer, you'll probably get advice telling you how to stroke the other person's hair or face to see if kissing is possible. I wouldn't follow that advice.

Instinct! It's just one of those things that you know from the moment you start doing it. Sorta like throwing a dog in a pool and watching it swim out. :) It's their instinct.
Uhh... if you're really worried, just practice on your hand or your arm. You've obviously kissed someone before (your Mom, perhaps); kissing a special someone is like that, only continuous. You don't wanna suck on that person's mouth though or bite their lips or anything.
Also, you should close your eyes. It's weird when you don't.
If you're still too curious, youtube it.
