Ideally, to r1. If you don't want to do till r1, go as far as possible. Spread it over time.
Basically, get every skill that +dex to you as high as possible.

r1 lifeskills is always good. Final Shot gives a lot of dex. Crash shot is a good AoE attack. You have all the basics done so its pretty much up to you where you want to go.

Its always grindy lol. If your good at mods you can get that auto clicker thing and sit around for hours. First aid should go capped. It gives great dex and is a great skill.

Depends on your patience for grinding lifeskills. Some people complain at rF. Some people go all the way to r1 or master title. First Aid is mostly about doing quests, and ranking it if you have AP.
It really depends on if you have the mass AP and/or patience to grind out some of those skills.

At the beginning it's easy because you can just find blank scrolls and spam play them, but i believe around r4 blank scrolls will not work. That's because Musical Knowledge is capped so your gonna have to start spamming the defaults at that point for successes.

Rank up Crash Shot or Final Shot. Those give decent dex that can be required for your weaving successes. You don't wanna waste materials for weaving. :D
But those skills do tend to take a lot of AP, so you'd have to be extremely patient with them. Though, it's worth the dex in the end. Since those skills are CP based as well with monster rankings...Better to get it done sooner than later.
And with the extra AP from your aging or rebirths, spend it on the other life skills in conjunction to gain some dex ready for when you start weaving. You can also do your playing instrument with that extra AP from rebirth or those extra levels when you need to rebirth again for the AP for the higher ranks of those skills.
It adds a lot of CP in the end..And costs the most AP too out of all your skills possibly.. But it's better to get it done now than later I suppose. Later on, you'll have the patience to do those other skills that are much easier with less AP and grinding required, because you'll already have done those harder skills.
Overall, it's patience and taking it at your own pace. You don't have to do weekly rebirths, because if you do it too much, it'll feel like a chore. So feel free to balance out those more AP skills with the life skills that take less AP, in conjunction. :D
More dexterity comes in handy when you get to those other production skills which make you have to gather materials for, and you don't want to waste those. (Mostly if you're going to be one of those people who buy the materials for those needed life skills.)
Eg: Spam Crash Shot or Final Shot, until you have the point you need to rebirth to get AP for another rank. And then if you have that extra AP leftover, you may as well use it on something like Playing Instrument or Mirage Missile. Crash Shot adds no CP at all, but the requirements are CP based, so I suggest you do the harder one first, then do Final Shot. You probably don't want to add a bunch of CP from Final Shot before doing Crash Shot, it'll just make it more difficult to do if you don't have the neccessary -CP equipments.
What I recommend is using your extra AP for Weaving, Production Mastery, Instrument Playing, or First Aid.
Afterwards, the rest of the skills you plan to rank to add dex should require less AP. Harder skills first, then the easier ones won't be as tedious to do, and won't feel like a chore. :D
Most importantly, do it at your own pace.

You may also want to throw Handicraft in there, toward the end. REALLY cheap, AP wise. It's around 16 AP to get it to r6, which is the cap. Save all the materials from weaving and use them on Handicraft and you'll be able to rank it to around r9 really quickly.

well I have more then 185 dex with my title up and I thought 185 dex was the cap for bonus % but so... Crash Shot then?

Shirayuki wrote on 2011-01-02 22:56
Crash Shot if you need it for grinding, Final Shot if you want a 30 dex title. Both cost at least 400 AP so just choose one for now.

Another good +dex skill is support shot. Its kind of a grind at higher ranks, but its worth +31 dex for only 181 ap.
