When I read "mats"

I absolutely hate that abbreviation. I just say materials.

I like to use a lot of abbreviations

MT and MG for Mana Tunnel and Moon Gate respectively
PTJ for Part time Job

For myself, I found funny how people referred to "Thin threads" and "Thick Threads" as thins and thicks
I could probably list more, but I can't think of any more =P

"I'm making pots" - sounds like you're making cookware.
"bring pots!" - bring cookware to the dungeon
make a typo and forget the S "S> pot" - the police knock down your door.

Like for potions.
I don't use "pots" but I use "100pt potions" when referring to the type of potions that restore 100 points of their respective stat(s).

If i'm being specific it's usually "MP/HP/SP/Wound 300/100/50/30/10 potions."

"I need to get more 100pt potions, I'm low on MP100s and HP100s."
"I'm making hundreds of wound10s D:"
