*Insert Scooby-Doo "RUUUHHHH?"
I want one of Morrighan's "champions" or the Milletiant who became the Champion appear as an antagonist in the storyline and as a sort of mini boss.
Imagine, a character who is a milletiant like you, standing in front of you, barring your way to the boss.
He/She laments on how you have fallen and how you have not only disgrace Morrighan but all the milletiants of Erinn. He/She also comment on how hard it was to defeat Glas Ghaibhleann and call out that the one you fought in g9 was merely an imitation of the real one and how he/she killed a dragon in g3 and no matter how strong you are, you cannot beat him/her.
Then he/she goes into a transformation cutscene into the Paladin Champion armor and you both duke it out.
The paladin fights Julius Belmont style, using swords and whips. Throwing holy waters and fires at you. Using crosses and the axe throw move on you. While teleporting and doing kick slide smash and down attacks in which you fight an epic battle against a paladin milletiant.

Don't make sense but sounds epic!
And then Morrighan turns into the DEVIL!!!

Cause it's not a skill we can learn otherwise we would have learned it already. Unless Morrighan joined forces with the ancient dead Partholions and took the Milleatient who become Knight of Light aside and taught him/her that.

Hell yea, imagine how fun it will be to fight against the milletiant of g1~g3. The one, storyline wise, who kills the Glas Ghaibhleann and Cromm Cruiach. The same milletiant who laughs saying that the Glas Ghaibhleann you fought was a mere imitation to what they fought. It's sort of like beating yourself up, not that you already did so already.
A duel against a real hero, storyline wise.
And imagine that the milletiant has the "who Saved the Goddess" or "the Savior of Erinn" title equipped?

But.. don't you need to chuck them into the air in an arc before it hits the enemy? That's what happens in Castlevania, and it's got a really bad angle... :l Nty. Whips as a weapon would be nice though.

I want to see that. A boss using a whip or a whip sword to cover the area infront of him and you have to use evade to go underneath it.

The likely reason why Cichol is leading a war against humanity is because the game needed an antagonist XP
But seriously, part of his motivation may be explained in the mabi story, but it's also probably derived from the original Celtic myths wherein the Partholonians and the Fomorians were at war and Cichol was the name of the king of the Fomors at that time (and obviously the figure that our Cichol is based on). The Fomorians lost that war of Mag Ithe and were driven from Ireland until the Partholonians were wiped out by plague (not mentioned to be caused by Cichol), which left the island empty and allowed the Fomorians to return and rule, where they would stay in control through the invasion of the Nemedians (whom they personally slaughter and drive off Ireland), the Fir Bolg (whom they more or less coexist with without any major or at least notable scuffles), and are finally defeated by the Tuatha de Dannan led by the Human King Nuadha and Lugh Lavada (who'd been named Commander of Nuadha's army shortly before) during the second battle of Mag Tuiredh (The first battle was the Tuatha de Dannan invading against the Fir Bolg. There was no Fomorian involvement of important). Cichol wasn't the king of fomors during this battle though, or at least wasn't the only one. The leaders were Bres, the former king of the Tuatha de Dannan, and Balor of the Evil Eye, another lord of the Fomors who took a liking to Bres' desire for revenge.
Anyway, according to the original Celtic Myth, Cichol and the Fomorians have plenty to hate humans for, no matter which particular group they are. This is the reason why Cichol was picked to be the antagonist, and while his motivations in Mabi might be based on some differing events, the main idea is still the same: Humans moved in and took the land from the Fomors, and they want it back.
The Fomorians earlier history before the Tuatha de Dannan goes back a lot farther but you need to find fancier books to find it. The book I have is mostly just collections about the Tuatha de Dannan and near the end the MIletians.

Plus I truly believe Axe Throwing skill will be implemented some day (uses Hatchet :D).
Btw isn't morrigan supposed to be something like a witch that runs rampant in the battlefield turning into different animals (mainly crows) ?o3o
