Well I play 3 characters but 1 way more then the others, the only time I play the other two is when I finished off my check-list for my mains rebirth (lvls, explore, money and etc.) and when I get bored. And I also use a different character for a HW spammer whenever I can. And I also like to test skills on my other 2 characters before I think about ranking it on my main.

It gets kind of tedious to keep up with each one if you're trying to give 100% for each character. I often switch between my characters daily, play 1~2 hours per character, that sort of thing.
It actually makes it a bit funner in some cases, since you never run out of things to do.

When I get bored of one, I switch.

Hmm, For those wandering.. I consider all 11 my mains. The main reason I usualy make multiple character is cause there is just so many different ways to enjoy the game.. I can't be fufiled with just one character. I make up a battle style ingame, work on designing a befitting character for it(using emulators and such) Then I create them and have them grow up like I wanted. Heck, 2 of my alchemist were already made before G9, left innactive a little to collect age up AP. I even made my Tower Alchemist (tower cylinder user) Back in G10, letting her collect AP and such and using time to gather up the right clothings.
For people here who know Trickster Online.. I had 15 characters on it, 14 females and 1 male (which I dressed up in girly clothes)

I used to have about 8 characters on my old account, eat was supposed to have a different ego weapon, but I found it time consumming and stuck with my main.

I have 6 characters with only 1 of them my main. I had 2 of them made to try and main them but that has failed...

I maintain about... 4 characters; 1 main (primary), 2 secondaries, 1 tertiary. Then I have, I think, 6 more characters that serve as inventory/proffing mules.
I agree with Chiyuri, it's not that hard to remember your characters and what they do/store/prof/whatever. Though, I care very little for lvling up/training my characters except my main and secondaries.
But yeah, it's mainly for fun (experimentations, becoming proficient at scenarios) or storage.

hmm I still have yet to make a storage mule. a Bank (no service), a few pets (2-3) and your own inventory is enoguh to keep items related to a specific class. Each characters having their own class and job make it like I have all the space I need to do everything I want.

Most of my really strong characters were past mains that i dropped. my actual alts are usually for just when I'm not wanting to do anything on my main or I've hit a stand still on my main and that alt has TONS of ap waiting for me to abuse.
My bro though he just jumps characters depending on his mood and what he wants to train.

I only stick with one character, I'm not very much an alt person. I manage to get my fix on variety by playing my pets.

I stick to life skills on my human, with the occasional forays into combat to get a decent lvl 25/15 at least every three weeks. My elf mainly rafts and gets a good deal of lvls that way, 35/20 or so. The rafting was originally to get supplies for the lifeskilling I was doing on my human. My giant is my combat main and a Royal Alchemist. It takes little effort to get to 70/15 and with my elf/human for support getting through refine/synthesis/metal conversion/etc. wasn't a huge obstacle.
In addition, I have another human stationed in Bangor for quick holy water ptjs.
As for lvls, two are nearing 2k and another is just under 1k, all on free rebirths. It's possible mainly because they each have a defined role and therefore complement each other. Thus, while training 3 chars is slower than 1, each char speeds up the training of the others to sort of cancel it out. When I wasn't working/in school, it wasn't uncommon to hit 80/25 - 40/25 - 40/15 on lvls while spending a sizeable chunk of time training skills and 0 time grinding.

Quote from Ryoko;276180:
Well, it's fun to play a variety of races when you get tired of one. It feels nice to start fresh again. :D
I made 2 humans R1 WM, one that was 8xx and the other being 16xx. It's actually accomplishing feeling because doing WM to 1 every week on the first week of character creation is worth it. :D (But then I moved to a elf character because I got bored of humans.)
WM for Elf was the most annoying thing to me, since it had more grinding than humans which I was used to. QQ
I only focus on my elf now, and I use the rest for storage so I don't waste them. :kill:
this
get bored of one
go to another get bored of that one
make a new one or go back to old one,

One game and one character is enough for me. Too much time and I really never want to through weaving and enchanting ever again...
Ever again.
