Cide got banned? WTF.
I didn't even hear about this until just now. I'm terrified of Paypal now.

I just logged in and my friend (on his alt account) said he was banned and he didn't even use paypal/credit card, etc... maybe surveys? dunno, really, NX just hates us.

As sucky as it is, I do think that Nexon is in the right with this, at first anyways. They're probably cracking down on preventing fraud, and in Cide and Coy's case, they see that two accounts are being using the same PayPal, so without asking the owner of the PayPal account being used to fund both accounts whether or not the account is being abused or not, they ban the account that doesn't share the same name as the PayPal account owner, in which it would be Cide. So that $115 is what Coy spent on Cide, returning what Nexon is assuming stolen money.
How ever, if they're also doing it with credit cards, then either Nexon is getting tired of the little kids stealing their parents credit cards to buy NX for MapleStory, and then having the parents cancel the transaction, thus meaning that Nexon's losing money, or Big Brother is passing a tougher credit card fraud law, and Nexon is reacting to that, though I haven't heard of anything like that in the news. So it's probably just best to say that Nexon is just ****ing up as usual.

If that's really the case, I'm going to get banned soon.
I really really really hope you're wrong, Arsik.

even still, i think it's a bit far-fetched of them to decide i'm having my account abused, then throwing money back at me without even saying a thing. i didn't get an email, nothing. just a ****load of refunds with no explanation.
you would think with the money hungry fools that they are, they wouldn't pull this until i actually came forward and complained about my money being wrongfully spent.

Probably Nexon ****ing up then, because someone in this thread said they didn't even use paypal. I'll be very sad if these bans aren't fixed.
Edit: Nice sig...QQ

God I hope I don't get banned, I've never used paypal,
But that doesn't mean anything...

As usual nothing to do but spam their forums and tickets. Nexon doesn't even give contact information on their website last I checked. If I wanted nation to be taken off their erinn walker I have no email or phone number to go to.

I use Prepaid cards only, so I hope they don't wrongly ban me either...I've always used Prepaid cards. But sometimes I ask myself the question:
Why do we even pay for this type of customer service?

They do this because they don't want to be held accountable for anything, and just hope their customers will just eventually give up... and their service is so terrible that no support staff in the planet would be able to cope with the volume of angry calls and e-mails.
Frankly, I just don't see how a company can function like that at all... Doesn't the Better Business Bureau have some sort of regulations about actually being able to speak/chat with a representative and not one of the bots that ignore you through their ticketing system?

Thing about the NX Mabi team is their support team consists of like 3 people o.o

Nexon ignores the BBB, a few complaints on it have been responded to with the same BS as on the ticket system. Their rating has gone from F to B to whatever it is now (haven't checked in a while).

Two of them being bots, and the third one falls asleep on the job?
Also, after a quick search in the BBB I found some contact information as well as the type of complaints they've received in the past... I bet if you call one of those numbers you'll get one of those rejection hotlines that you give to bad dates.
