Have you ever wanted to make another nexon account for whatever reason, but hate the idea of keeping track of multiple e-mail addresses? Do you get annoyed when you can't remember the password to your alternate account, and can't remember the e-mail address you used to register it with? [this happens to me a lot LOL]
However, this should help you out! Yay ~
What you need:
- a gmail address. That's it. The longer, the better, but make it memorable.
So, it's pretty simple.
All you need to do is register for a gmail account, then register for a nexon account. When you get to the e-mail part, STOP and read below.
The way this works is pretty nifty:
Take your gmail account, let's say it's mabifan<at>gmail.com [using the at in case this is actually somebody's e-mail, don't want them to get flooded with bots]
If you try and register a nexon account, putting a dot in there somewhere, like...mabi.fan<at>gmail.com, it will count as a never-used e-mail.
The way Gmail works is any variation of your e-mail, like putting a dot in the middle, will automatically redirect it to you as Gmail doesn't recognize the period, so you receive any e-mails sent to ma.bifan<at>gmail.com, m.abifan<at>gmail.com, etc.
You can do this as many times as you like, and you can even add multiple periods if you get desperate. More examples include:
ma.bifan<at>gmail.com
m.abifan<at>gmail.com
and so on. And voila, you're done.
This is pretty much just a way of keeping all of your nexon accounts in one place, in case you forgot the password to one of them, you don't have to go hunting through god knows how many e-mail accounts you randomly made. This would be more useful if you had registered all of your accounts beforehand.
Extra: If you need to recover password, etc.
Of course, you might notice that by default, gmail doesn't show what your e-mail is when you receive them. [it looks like, for example, verify.nexon.net to me]. It won't be helpful if you need to recover a password and can't remember exactly which dot combination you used.
SOOOO, to fix that, all you have to do is this:
Step 1: Pull up the verification e-mail [you might have to hunt through your inbox and read all of the verification messages, but I only use my gmail account for registering Nexon accounts LOL]
Step 2: Click on the 'Show Details' box next to the line that shows who the e-mail is from, like so:

Step 3: Now you can see exactly which e-mail you used to register your account with [and now you know my gmail account and my sucky paint skills, LOL]:

Enjoy. <3
