I'd like to add metal conversion if you're doing metallurgy. Yes, it's not a life skill but it does have its benefits. Firstly, you can convert unknown ores into iron ingots which, if you can find a reliable ingot buyer, gives you a tidy profit. Also, since silver is pretty expensive, you could convert copper ores to silver ores and sell those for 3k a stack to further increase your metallurgy profits. In the long run, it's probably not that great but hey, every little bit helps.

Do not make an alt for anything except storage. Rank all your skills on your main. They give stats, and you'll want those stats eventually.
But the fatnessssssssss. UGH.
Well, if you don't care about pixel weight, Cooking is pretty good for Mages/Archers. It gives a decent stat bonus for something primarily used for the mo-nay.

Most life skills make you $$$ if you collect all the materials yourself.
I think potion making is the only life skill that can make you $$$ if you're lazy. 10k/stack mana herbs triple in value when you turn them into mp100s.

The other is to do the cooking lists with a Giant alt under level 100(basic is SOOO easy). rank up cooking them get some strong melee done and they can make those lists that sell for 250k very easily.
And if anyone does that and is in Alexina, I'll gladly buy those cooking lists off them :v

Pot making is probably not a very good source of money to begin with.
It's somewhat difficult to get high volumes of herbs without buying or rafting, and early on, the success rate is terrible. Joining a production party doesn't help too much either, since the bonus depends on the party's pot making skill, not production mastery. And no stats benefit it either.
MP100's sell well, but in order to get to a rank where you can make MP100's without failing too much, you'll have to waste money making Wound and HPMP potions, neither of which sell well and are worth less than the herbs used to make them.

They're coins you get awarded after successfully completing Kitchen Dungeon recipes... You can buy certain rare items with them, or books to rank the cooking skill.

I overlooked the alt part, derpity. On that note, NEVER RANK COOKING ON A MAIN.
I sound like godzilla when I walk nao.
I had the opposite effect when I trained r8 and r7 Cooking... I was skinny as HELL
P.S. Rebirthing changes the character appearance, so eat the food when you're 20 for the training, and get a free rb ^_^b

Weaving
That's almost 100% profit since the materials to make are worth nothing.
Cooking is good for things, but also because of the Monkeys statue prices and EJ3 have dropped by more than half :fail:
Blacksmithing if you aren't broke by the time you reach it, or give up
But it's really all your choice, all can get you enough money at decent ranks :what:
