Middle School was easy since all I did for those 3 years was crack jokes and be inappropriate.
But you're lucky as hell if you get 8 hours of sleep, so just cherish it until highschool. 8D

Cherish those 8 hours, I'm telling you. They're freaking amazing. I cherish my breaks for that reason. 8 hours is a very decent sleep. If you're complaining about that I fear for you in the future.

Do what I do.
Piss around all through middle school not giving a crap about anything, then, when you get into high school, Man up and Be good at school.

For some reason I don't believe you're really only in fifth grade.

I do..
I've met some very intelligent 5th graders
one I thought was probably a senior in hs
because she talked about graduation and when I asked whats she going to do afterwards
"Well my mom said there are a few extra classes I can take in middle school that will help prepare me in highschool"
I didn't believe her and she let me call her
10 yr olds are like doing algebra I started in 7th grade ;_;

You act more like a 7th/8th grader, and I'm not basing that solely on how intelligent you seem, but also they way you talk/act. And I know how smart such young kids can be, since I job shadowed a fourth grade teacher before, and I got to talk with and help most of the kids she saw throughout the day.

It's okay, not many people believe I'm a sophomore:|
So, advice. First off, don't pile up on things if you know you're not going to be able to do them. Especially extracurricular activities. Sure, doing certain extracurricular activities have the potential to help, but if they're going to take away from your performance in school, it's best to drop them. Probably common sense, but it's better to do really well in one thing than mediocre in many things.
And yeah, really, cherish your 8 hours of sleep. All my friends are happy enough to get even 6 hours, and they're all jealous that I can fit in 9 hours.
