Pika pikachu.
(People who do most or all the work for me. Pika's more comfortable soloing than in parties.)

Knows how to save when things get messy.
Doesn't screw up your combo -> get you killed.
Knows teamwork.

Quote from Chiri;28715:
Friendly, doesn't care about being a 'pro', doesn't wear obnoxious flashy-dyed clothes in dungeon.
Polite and can spell words properly.
Doesn't pull out their thoroughbred to rush through to the next room, unless everyone else has one.
Knows how to hold their own against mobs in dungeon, and knows the difference between messing up someone's combo and helping them finish off something faster. Doesn't get party members killed with their bad tactics.
Isn't the kind to rush to the red spider in Alby4.
If they have to go afk in the middle of the dungeon, they actually say, "be right back," and don't just sit on the floor.
They don't need to be able to 1HKO everything, but they do need to know how to use their skills effectively.
This. Also I hate it if Anyone goes afk in the middle of the dungeon and especially if they have the key.

In most parties there are Dominant players. A good party member can support that player making the dungeon run easier. This works both ways. In some dungeon runs I take a backseat and play support which makes the party work better since the strongest person in the room can focus on what they do best. When everyone goes at things full bore (especially in harder dungeons) then often times is the result of mass death. The exception to this is when you have the same skills sets. If all the party members range then its easy to party platy (set up barrier spikes and magnum/ar spamm). If they all melee its generelly a WM party.
Edit: Repeatedly going afk. Bad. Delibritely blowing you up after you said not to (rabbie adv, barri adv) although this can be a fun game between friends. Trying to brag about soloing a dungeon and then constantly needed revs. People who don't bring pots/feathers/ego fud/any dura left on weapons and equips/ or people with excessive foul language.

Does not go "brb msn" in a room filled with burgundy bears.
aka close your damn messenger when you run a dungeon filled with very fast aggro speed mobs.

someone who is nice
i'd rather die multiple times in a dungeon with someone who is nice and fun to talk to than breeze through it with a jerk

People who can WM support a Mage... I'm not that good at being a mage but it is a slow but sure process :P
IB spam ftw!
I usually converse with someone first to determine whether or not they are a do**he. If they are then no go.

Someone that can help the party complete the dungeon (or fulfill the purpose of the party). Not all parties exist to do dungeons. Some parties can be for various other things like life skills. Maybe some of them are just partying for chatting together or something.
A bad party member is one that would get in the way such the purpose/goal of the party.

People who don't rush through the whole dungeon with their horses, People who know their limits to what dungeon they can do.
People who don't brag on how strong they are. That about it for me.

good points have been brought up. one I can add is
sense of humor. seriously. dungeon/shadow mission can be very boring if there are no jokes being exchanged.

Someone who does what they're told.
Such as, hit the orb or open chests only when told to. Rush and run when time is against us. Sit when they need to be healed and heal when someone asks (kindly my I add). And, most importantly, help someone asks for it.

yay i'm what looked for in a healer~
also, i like acting as a bolt-stunner so my partner can spam smash
or stuff like that so i can hold on stray aggro that would get in the way of what (i think) my party member's doing.
B> r1 Foresight plox
also healing is nice to have xD
and yeah i hate when, after EVERY room, there can be that one person who has like 8 mounts and right after the doors open again he summons it, rides off, opens the next room, and one of two things usually happen:
1) He dies cuz he didn't crit wm or he couldn't reach everything.
2) He kills them all and gets even further ahead while we're still trying to catch up to him >:[
i myself prefer to be the supporting healer...
but that's cuz it's easy x.x
as long as i can avoid fighting off aggro for too long.
which in shadow missions is pretty darn easy x3

Has more than 1 feather and 2 potions when prepared for dungeon.
Can effectively use teamwork against stronger opponents rather than just interrupting with whatever attack and screwing things up.
Properly aggroing their own, and keeping their ground against their share of the opponents.
Not much more to ask for.

Someone who does not mess up your mobs.
Someone who does not go AFK every 5 minutes.
Someone who actually revives you instead of saying they don't wanna waste their feathers.
Someone who can bring the beer and chips to the party.
