How does it work? What are the factors in determining the rank of the crystal? Can entrusted charges be used to fill the "Make FIreball/icespear" crystal requirements? Pls reply D: Also, in your oppinion would spamming rank 1-5 thunder crystals with 5 charges PWN? Cause thats what i intend to do with them :D

Yes, entrusting works. Infact, entrusting is one of the ways to get higher rank crystals. Another factor in crystal rank is the +% magic damage from titles/equipments. Crown Ice Spear with the +% damage upgrade, r1 Ice Spear/Mana Crystalization allows you to get r1 IS crystals almost every time.
Also, Mana Crystalization decreases the loading time of those crystals as well.

er you crystalize the magic pretty much o-o;;; then you shoot those crystals out at your leisure lol
er pretty much it depends on your rank of mana crystalization and the entrusted person's rank of whatever magic they're casting. then i think you average it out or something, not too sure about the specifics T_T
yes it can
no i highly doubt it...it loads pretty slow T_T. you can shoot a 5 charge crystal a lot faster than it would take to actually charge it all, but no, i do not think its spammable...

Actually, a 5 charge crystal will load faster than loading 5 charges of the respective adv magic. It is 6.5/5/7 seconds for Thunder/Icespear/Fireball crystals if you are r1 mana crystalization.
Also, the crystals do not gain extra damage from critical.

The int of the caster affects the quality of the crystals FYI. I have a friend who does all my casting for me, and the crystals we make when she's a DK are 1 or 2 grades higher than when she's normal. I recommend always having someone else cast because you always get credit for making crystals no matter who the caster, but there is no specific requirement that asks you to use your own mana.
Also, I prefer to use Fireball crystals for things like rafting. If I knew someone with a high rank of thunder maybe I'd use those but I have a friend with Rank 1 Fireball and seeing as those crystals are always fully charged, they'll always be fully powered, and hence will never fail to kill a bunch of hobgoblins. Endless is also right in that it's always the same loading time for crystals, regardless of how many charges are on it. A thunder crystal with 1 charge loads as fast as one with 5 so if you're going to go thunder, fully charge them.

Im Pretty sure your wrong there
If I remember correctly its rank of mana crystalization+rank of said spell being crystalized
has nothing to do with int
and if she does happen to make crystals of higher qual in trans then normal I WANT PROOF >:l
Vid please ^^ onegai

One note about Thunder crystals though; unlike a normal cast of thunder from a wand, you will be immobile until the secondary hits end.

But heres the question, can you still load another thunder crystal when you cant move like casting* thunder?

I believe you can. I'd have to test it to know for sure. I haven't used thunder crystals in forever :P

Ok, I got my friend on to do the crystals and I filmed it, so I'll get that video up later if you still want it, but here's how it ended up.
I have Mana Crystallization Rank A and Alchemy Mastery D, she has Ice Spear 2 and Alchemy Mastery F. I didn't bother noting the ints of both of us at the time. Anyway, we did single charge Ice Spear Crystals, and while she was untransformed, we made Crystals that were between Rank A and 7, with the majority being in the 9 and 8 range.
After she transformed (even though we did the transformed stats first), we made 8's and 7's, and nothing below that. So yeah, while the higher int stat didn't push us over rank 7 crystals, it did make the range of crystals better in terms of making better grade crystals. So probably if she could boost int enough maybe we could boost it to higher ranks, but at the very least the higher int makes you far more likely to make the high end crystals of your range.
(And yes, I did each of these runs twice, about 25 times each)
We also did a run where I boosted my own int with Lollipops of Intelligence and it didn't affect the range at all, or if anything it cut off the A's from the run so we just made 9-7's.
