For the upgrades list on the wiki, I see for the new wand and the oldest wands, chaincasting. For the 60k wands, however, I see none. Does this mean that they have chaincasting "built-in" or I can never use chaincasting?
Also, I have the 60k Crystal Lightning Wand, what upgrade path do you suggest? (They both seem good to me, hehe)

Crystal lightning wand, crown ice wand, and phoenix fire wand don't get chaincasting upgrades. What they get instead, though, in general are changes to damage, cast time, and mana use.
For the crystal wand, I'd suggest you go with the one that reduces cast time, since it also comes with some mana reduction and doesn't take away too much damage. Though this is coming from someone who uses thunder to raft most of the time.

:\ Is the casting speed (178) upgrade better than Chaincasting? (I remember once upon a time, Chaincasting was the essence for really pro mages) Is chaincasting really necessary? (Doesn't seem all that great when you look at it)

Chaincasting is only useful for Firebolt. Maybe Icebolt, but it kills so much dura it's inefficient. Lightningbolt should never be used with chaincasting, since multiple bolts decrease it's damage and cause unnecessary aggro.
So no, Chaincasting is not worth it on a Thunder Wand. Only on a Fire Wand it's acceptable due to Firebolt's long loading times. Go with the casting time upgrades on a Crystal Lightning Wand for a faster Thunder to shoot moar. Mana Consumption is good as well since that 42 MP can be draining at times.

Actually a +1 chaincasting lightnnig wand is pretty fun to use. If oyu can spare the heavy mana cost of using 2 bolts all the time for the damage of only one. You got yourself an infinite pushback. And in dungeons like alby inter and such, the dual hit each cast is quite useful. It,s a great aggro control tool for those who actually know how to control aggro. It,s also a nice way of giving support to allied. I normally push my ennemy close to the one of my ally and get them both hit by lgihtning, giving plenty of change for my ally to strike his ennemy with full power, or giving them a chance to fight back if they do a miss or are getting in trouble.

I guess you can call that an exception, but Firebolt can do that job better since it always pushes-back as well, and is less mana-consuming than chaincasting 2 Lightning-bolts together. If there's a problem with loading times, a Phoenix Fire Wand alleivates that if you upgrade it with speed casting upgrades, which makes a Firebolt charge about 1.2 seconds long.

All chaincasted bolts use the same dur.
Multiple charges of Lightningbolt does not decrease damage.
Lightningbolt splash does not aggro, only causes alert status.

So you're saying I've been lied to the entire time. :< I'm starting to not trust the wiki now...

The wiki didn't lie to you. The damage is decreased but only for groups of enemies.
Example:
Player >>>>> Enemy 1 (100% damage) >>>>> Enemy 2 (90% damage) >>>>> Enemy 3 (80% damage)
,etc.
