So here's the story: My mother basically said 'Ok, I'm not cooking anything but dinner for you anymore'.
I can do breakfast and lunch fine, but... I NEED MY SNACKS, ESPECIALLY COOKIES.
So, I'd like some suggestions for some snacks I could cook. I'd prefer them to be fairly simple to make, but I'm actually an alright cook, so as long as it's not super hard I should be able to manage.
Anything containing chocolate is a plus 8D
I'm up to try cook some stuff that I usually wouldn't (AKA Not cookies or brownies) because cooking the same stuff over and over is boring.
I'm going to sleep now, so I'll check this thread when I wake up.
And if i get some good suggestions, maybe I'll post some pictures of the finished products. Or pictures of my house burning down, who knows?

Homemade rice krispy treats are good and super easy, unless you burn things easily. (Yes, I did manage to burn marshmallows once, HUSH.)

Pasta, steak, lasagna, stir fry, casseroles, burgers and ribs are all great snacks!
Hmmm...
How about just not cooking? When I get the rumblies, I usually just fill a plate up with deli meat, cheese and crackers. Pretty easy and awesome IMO.

Protoman's original username was liraiyu. I doubt that lira is his real name.
Homemade honeycomb, crushed graham crackers, yogurt go.

Snacks
First question can you buy stuff like flour etc,premade stuff
If you can then here are some suggestions
Savory(salty) - pizza buy a premade dough,sauce and cheese and add toppings, then eat slice by slice, if you have acess to a deep frier or a good oven baked goods such as baked french fries or breads make great classic snacks
Sweet- after cookies and brownies you can try pastrie goods like premade strudles or take premade dough and wing it
Really really lazy method for cake- make a chocolate cake batter put in cup and nuke in microwave and enjoy

heres a cake recipe i use a lot that's really easy, and uses no eggs. You can get away with cutting the oil a bit. I love it with my cup of tea.
* 3 cups flour (680 grams)
* 2 cups sugar (450 grams)
* 6 tablespoons cocoa (100 grams)
* 2 teaspoons baking soda (10 cc's = 10 ml)
* 1 teaspoon salt (5 cc's = 5 ml)
* 3/4 cup vegetable oil (200 cc's)
* 2 tablespoon vinegar (30 cc's)
* 2 teaspoon vanilla (10 cc's)
* 2 cup cold water (480 cc's)
mix the dry and wet ingredients in separate bowls then slowly incorporate together. The vinegar activates the baking soda, so make sure you don't take too long in getting it in the oven.
