Finding the Lost Elf is taking FOREVER?

try looking in rupes desert, is waaaaay easier to find elfs there ^^

I just pop it on my thunderbird and set the minimap to Filia then go off to drink something. Before there were flying mounts I used my ostrich.

No mobs can chase down an ostrich.

Rupes + normal L Rod.

No need for a map or mods or siding with elves if human. It's pretty easy to find them there and they give either 1000 or 1500 EXP depending on what areas of Rupes your in.

I stopped doing artifacts or fossils due to the sheer stupid ease of doing this instead until i get around to ranking ADV magic which wont be for a long time.

I found an elf and I mounted it on my carpet. It was there and then it apparently poofed as soon as I left the Rupes Desert and I had to go back..
But at least Rupes Desert has a high concentration of everything being merely lost elves.

First time doing the quest, didnt know it was able to mount your pet. Found out after I saw a couple of people with elves on their horses -.-
Now I know.
