I think it would be more like a trip to Karu, to help you get them yourself.
Exactly. It would be more like a field trip. I only provide cooking tools, books and wands >.> And maybe food here and there....
One thing we incorporated was a student allowance by ranking/class level. Student allowances ranged from potions to repair money to other useful resources like mana preservations or mats, but nothing that was just a simple handout for we require students to stay enrolled and active in classes to receive allowances
Getting paid gold or items for learning. Hm...I like your idea (And the allowances would attract people too).My school focuses on every skill rather than just magic or life. Im also opening up Generation Quest Tutoring classes after school for those stuck with Storyline quests. (Those classes actually have a cost but its only around the price of a Practice Round for Jousting without a friend. Roughy 50g? Yea..)

Hmm I don't know if I have ever seen your thread on this before. But since you want to format it as an academy if I can make recommendations.
1. Make it cross server. Appoint directors (perhaps range, melee, mage, Alchemist, from each server (volunteers) to lead that servers school.
2. Write a curriculum that you and your server directors agree on.
a. How to level your as a (character type)
b. Specific Skill classes (IE how to use thunder effectively)
c. Party classes (how to create effective teams and use them in missions/dungeons.
d. Graduation/benefits
3. Advertise in game and on mabination.
4. Think about alumni future contributions in order to make it more attractive.
I would suggest looking for specific directors based on the quality of thier content here on mabination.
Good luck on this. Less uniformed characters is always good for mabi.

I should begin to rely on you. I think that's the best idea ever. So you're saying I should appoint directors as means of involving more people?....Hmm. More recognition.....more people....Ace. That's an ace idea! But how should I go about with the director registration? Notes are too much of a hassle in-game so I suggest considering both registries as one. Ok. It's settled! This thread will alo be the registry form for the Server-wide School Board of Teachers!
Teachers may sign-up here aswell as students. I'll also provide a link to the fansite I made which includes a FAQ about the school, the course list, supply donation periods and a calendar with the dates for each class. Please feel free to observe the entire site. If there are any questions, just send me a PM via Nation or ask here.

It's not necessarily paying them to learn, it's a privilage that my guild provides in order to encourage students to work towards successful adventures. And I know your school is all skills xD I was just throwing out some ideas that I included in our plans.

I suppose I'll volunteer to be a teacher for Tarlach.
Though I'll step down if someone better qualified wants to do it.

Ferrets serve as better teachers because they'll learn from something as cute and cudly as you. There is no one else better than you, man. GO FOR IT!

Im gonna post the classes when I can. Actually.....I can just copy and paste it from Guru since I originally posted the class list there..
Electives:
Cooking Class
Music Class
Book Club (Ranking Club for Skills Practice)
Art Class (Sketching Wild animals and stuff.People who choose this will be outside for the activity where they may sketch any animal they wish)
Combat Class (Not PvP.I dont like bullies.Training skills....Maybe occasional PvP for Strategic Thinking (aka Battle Plan))
Archery Class (Shooting Targets such as animals.NO FOXES.Occasional dungeon runs for this activity.)
Magic Class (Stewart's across the hall. Why not? Practice a bit and learn something new!)
Medical Class (Self explanitory right?...Not so much.Ill provide books for Ranking First Aid and also (If I can) have a DK come in while his/her HP is draining and Rank Healing.)
That's everything from Guru that I posted :).
