Say what now? :what:
Clust spammers are really only good for huge monsters like Alatreon and Diablos. Everything else, no, because half the time they can't aim it efficiently or have the patience to
not hit the meleers with the spread. Which is understandable due to the nature of Rapid Fire. Use Rapid Fire Clust on a Barioth and sure, you aimed for the back, but because you're firing three times in succession and Barioth moves a LOT, you're not going to
only hit the back. You'll hit the wing, face, whatever and cause ground spread which will make your teammates go flying and make the mission last longer because they're not inputting
their damage.
I could go on and on about how I dislike clust spammers because I've seen a many of them die to simple things and cause more trouble than they're worth. A Barioth swipe, a Jho breath, Diablos charge. All easily avoidable and blockable attacks but because they're over there spamming mindlessly thinking they're safe because they're distanced, they get hit mid Rapid Fire and die.
I've seen the same happen to Elemental Spammers but not as often because they used Medium bowguns for the most part. They can run and roll out of the way. Clust Rapid Fire pretty much requires a Heavy Bowgun and you're reduced to a slow lumbering walk. Especially if you have a folding bowgun. Ugh, I hate those.
Status Bowgunners are pretty awesome. I have a Status Gigginox set myself. When you pair with another efficient Statuser, you have a monster that can be paralyzed several times, poisoned several times, sleepbombed, exhausted, all depending on the armor/gem skills and skill present. At the same time, you're increasing the input of damage by the meleers and doing damage yourself. While the monster is paralyzed, I can be spamming Peirce Lvl 3 down its spine and not throwing my teammates around like ragdolls.
