I might as well make a video on it.

This is a combination video of the alchemy skill Shock (Spark) and the range skill Crash Shot combination video.

Since both shock and crash shot does not knock back the enemy, you can use both in succession in a group of enemies without knocking them back.

The stage is Shadow Cast City on Hard Level.

My Shock is rank 5 while my Crash Shot is Rank F.

Btw, ignore the bugle horn spams. It was a dark time during Mari (1 hour ago) when I recorded this. xD

Very nice use of Alchemy and Archery, the two skill sets that I never use (unless it's required to use and I have no choice). Interesting Combo.

I wonder if it's worth getting shock just to do that combo to efficiently solo harder shadow missions. Getting the crystals is super easy for me since I can duplicate them no problem. I'm just wondering if it's worth all the effort to get the pages and then spend tons of AP ranking it up.

I'd say it's worth it if you are an alchemist. It's flashy, works great with demi and broniac, and is a great alchemist tool. That and it's really fun when you cast it on your Dragon in the future and have a very "Shocking Dragon" killing the other "dragons" in Zardin :XD:

Shock is pretty nice, especially in mass multi-aggro situations. Even though it won't completely prevent everything from rushing in to kill you; it slows them down and lets you take 99% crashshots while they are stunned, further stunning them and allowing you to load another.

For me, page 1 and page 6 made up 90% of the difficulty\time in getting shock. If you can do the missions for pg.1\2\6, I'd say to go for it.
