Yes, i've read the guide, but it's kinda old so I didn't want to necro. ~.~
So anyways, i've been looking for something new, exciting, and efficient, so I picked a low HP build. I started as an Age 17 human thinking, oh yeah, this is going to work really well, they have low-ish combat growth.
Yeah, okay. I have 60HP already. I haven't ranked any skills but WM. rF Defense was given to me already, so that was +2HP. rF Rest was another 5, but whatever. I have rN CM.
Before I get too far, what should I do? I know Elves have naturally low HP and low growth at young ages, but I dislike Elves and their melee ability just isn't as good as humans, no matter how hard you try. I'd so make a low HP Giant in a heartbeat, but I love their tanking ability so what's the point? I picked a human for versatility, but the problem with that is at age 10, a human gains ONE HP PER LEVEL UP, but starts with a lower [~25hp] less than an age 17 human. While an age 17 human starts with high HP, they only gain .25HP/level [or 1HP every 4 levels]. And IMO, I hate the look of age 17 humans.
So yeah, help? :\

It's all about enchants, really... You should be able to adjust your HP through certain enchants such as Thief, Sacrificial, Maltreat, Fearless, etc. You can remove one piece of equipment and add another with a lower/higher HP penalty depending on your age or current level, so your HP gain or starting HP shouldn't affect you much.
If you're doing melee, Combat Mastery is an important skill, so you should find an enchant combination that will lower your HP to the optimal amount while still allowing you to rank the skill further.

Hmm, okay.
But in general, should I stay at a younger age or an older age?

The key to that particular build is Demi Lich weapon with a Crocodile/Destructive suffix. -140HP right there.
My -HP set for age17 human gives me 10-20 hp at 300-ish base.
Low HP was built for Age 17 + freebirth, but if you haven't ranked Rest/Defense/FirstAid (you will want CM eventually) you can pull off Age 10 births.

I'm curious, but why would this be better aimed at older characters? Because of the high HP growth for younger characters?

Your font is incredibly difficult to read.

ITT: Asking a question turns into hating on my text color.
If you want to give me to 250 gold, i'll change it. :')
So essentially, for now I should train as usual, and once I have the money/enchants, start lowering my HP?

I apologize for my derailment, the allotted 250 gold has been donated to you upon request.
Might I suggest deep pink?

You could probably get yourself to 10~30 hp as you are with a bunch of thief enchants without much trouble.
I'd also recommend Dawn boots from Rabbie Basic (when done in a party only?), those are -30 hp by themselves.

I would drag a full party through Rabbie Basic to get the end chests which would be more of a higher chance..
Thief is the easiest way to go for low HP builds, also adding critical as well from the luck you attain.

Maltreat is another good enchant.
Handgear - Prefix
-15HP if CM D+
+5Max Damage
Although you'd have to rank CM for it, in the end you'd have +10Max Damage and +15HP. Stick Thief onto it and the HP is cancelled out.
As for the age, if you plan on getting past level 40 then Age17 will give you less HP. If you don't make it past level 40, then Age10 gives less.
Age10 combined with Thief enchants that you'll be using to get -HP gives you a ton of crit, so that's another thing to consider.
Put Thief on your Hat, Clothing, and Shoes and you should be good for a while.
Alternatively there's Plateau and Sacrificial prefixes for Headgear and Footwear respectively, which is an additional -11 HP.

Ah, I see. I started at Age 10 for now since I won't be getting 40+ levels per rebirth to start, but i'll eventually switch to an older character.
Thanks, guys.
