If I understand the wiki correctly, then only my two highest CP giving skills are what dictate my CP along with stat CP. Now, if WM is at rank 2 and critical is at rank 5, then these two dictate my skill CP. So, my main question is, if I want to rank magic mastery, how far can I rank it without getting my CP up 100 points or so?
As for the black orb, I was wondering if I could just buy the completed orb once I get the seal breaker of another world title to just skip the gem dungeons. Or is it absolutely necessary to get the fragments and assemble your own orb?
Thanks!

You will get an extra 45cp at rB and 110cp at rA, so around there.

Critical rank 5 only gives 110 CP, which is a really low number in my opinion.
Could you list other high-ranked skills that could contribute towards your CP?
...Provided that Critical Rank 5 IS your second highest CP-giving skill (not necessarily the highest ranked), you can have r9 Magic Mastery for an additional 110 CP and a bit of Stat CP (Int, Mana). Otherwise, rA MM will give you 70 more CP and stat CP, and rB giving 20 CP and stat CP. rC will only give stat CP =)

Don't mistake what is meant by "highest two skills." Your two highest cp skills are what determine your skill cp, not your two highest ranked skills. Defense can easily provide more CP than Crit and end up your second highest or highest even if ranked much.

Yeah I got that. Every combat, magic, and ranged skill I have is at F. I've only been training life skill as advised...
