Target is taking over Zellers for $1.8 billion and now they're coming to Canada within 2-3 years.
Seems like they're using the same method that Walmart used when Walmart took over Woolco.
I never been to a Target store before. What can a Canadian expect?

Not to Quebec though. There's 60 zellers stores left not owned by target, and I read this morning that those 60 are in Quebec.
Target probably doesn't want the french. Stupid language laws.

Targets... a lot of them went out of business around here. They usually have really good prices, though.

They don't let Salvation Army be in front of their stores D:< Don't support them.

I miss my target. It was so much nicer than walmart and they had better prices. I could get my pocky there too.

The Targets I been to usually seem to be on the verge of closing or something. A Target and Walmart is next to each other, Walmart is filled with customers, and Target is like empty of customers.

Target is basically Walmart, but cleaner and offers nicer brands.
Alternatively they also charge a tad bit more than walmart.
Its a preference, but for the most parts they're practically the same.
Especially with Walmart really stepping up their game the past few years, adding lots of new product brands and organizing their stores a bit... Walmart always did have the upper hand.

Pfft, they closed the Wal-Mart near my house cause they were gonna put Target there.
Guess what? 5 years later, still no Target. I doubt they're gonna open one around here..

Mmm Target. I loved going there when I lived in the US. Zellers always did remind me of Target, but I like Target more. I wonder if they'll sell NX cards?

Sucks for my brother.
He always orders online from target for his stupid toys.

Zellers sucks, so I expect Target to at least not fail hardcore.

Yay, I like Target! Much better than Zellers in my opinion (used to live in the US for 8 years, then moved to Canada and has lived here for 6-7 years).

I never liked Zellers either. It was weird that the department store was so empty in large major malls.

It's nice to see Canada slowly getting more and more civilized.
That was a joke.

Target stopped selling NX cards quite a while ago.
